  1. Oh, and another thing. Drive the car like a road car. Driving like Schuey or Senna will cause your car to overheat quickly and likely to blow something or go "rally" driving. Driving smoothly will get quicker times than driving like a maniac.
  2. Lost 2 GTR's. One the engine started spitting oil out and the other lost it at turn 1. Majanal was behind the accident he knows.
  3. I had mine made and fitted at Enforcer engineering. Paid about $800.
  4. If you have a GTR, oil cooler is highly recommended. Oil temp passing 120 is not very good and GTR's oil temps go up very quick on the track. Drop tyre pressure. You'll have to play around with this yourself to suit yourself.

  6. At the moment Arrows are having financial woes so it looks doubtful for next year. Also Cosworth having to supply engines to 3 teams sounds like a lot to handle. It's not just a matter of throwing the motor their way. It's not a matter of wanting to swap Honda motors for Cosworth motors, but it's cause Honda want to concentrate on one team. Currently of the two teams, BAR is the more winning team so that's the way Honda want to go.
  7. The WRX is still insured but used by my sister now. The GTR is going to be mainly for track use now. Public transport is the way to go to get to work now. Third party on GTR wasn't that hard to get.
  8. I don't think Jag will be engineless. Cosworth will have to supply to both. Arrows may lose out though. If only the current Ford family were more into motorsports like in the 60/70's when they came up with the GT40 just to beat Ferrari in Le Mans.
  9. My one's almost up too. Got it checked out yesterday and it's all well. Stuff insurance this year. The money I'm forking out for that I may as well get another car or a bike.
  10. Too many w@nkers out there now days. Insurance finishes soon and then my R goes onto third party and will remain off the road most of the time. I'm not going to take it out and have w@nkers getting their hands on her.

  13. Have an idea what you want to race, open wheelers or production cars. Get yourself out to one of the advanced driving courses. You have to pass and be referred to someone to get your CAMS license. I'm doing one with Peter Finlay's next week and you need a 80% pass to go onto your CAMS but I don't think I'll be wanting my CAMS.

  15. GO ROSSI!!!!! We can't have Biaggi as a world champ. Bayliss kicks ass bad! To bad he couldn't take Foggy out. Hope he gets a 500cc ride next year and give Rossi a good run for his money. Shell, how can you not like Skaife? Him and Richards are the two Legends who took the GTR to their wins at Bathurst.

  17. My car has decided to start leaking. I know it's not the radiator or the connecting pipes. Does anybody know of common problems with GTR cooling systems. Trying to get to the water pump is a real pain in the ass as the plenum covers it. Thanks

  21. Any alarm can be by-passed. Just like any computer can be hacked. But not having one will make things easier for the theives to knock the car off. Sometimes a few seconds can make the difference in someone getting away with the car, and them getting caught red handed.
  22. Don't know about how they wear, but it's normal for multi-plate clutches to rattle.
  23. Do they have a website so I can look at the model. I'm after something that's near the top of the range, bar tracking.
  24. When cold I rev to 3000 revs. When normal about 3 - 4 revs.
