#1 changes front / rear wheel drive bias from around say 10:90 to 50:50 ratio #2 locks off First gear, so standing starts are 2nd gear to minimise wheel slippage -
you got a sereis 1 pearl white?? I have some paint easy to get made up, I went to Protec in SA - big paint place where I knew an insider (now in the mediteranians' sorry) its two tins of seperate paint with proper detailed mixing instructions hang on I'll grab them for the part numbers; I got them ready to touch up my rear bar (big 3qrtercircle-crack, was a spot repair in Japan that opened up again) and for my mirror repairs 1 tin is Code WK1 for 93-97 Nissan-Datsun "silky snow pearl" (group 2) tint BC764 118.0grams tint BC748 787.4grams 1000ml 2nd tin is Code G253 for BackgroundColours "grey" (group 1) tint BC711 15.8grams tint BC720 7.6grams tint BC745 1081.6grams tint BC787 15.4grams 1000ml hope this helps, but sory I have to hold onto mine ** seen some pics of 2 tone Stags, not good. lol unless you pick the right shade of colour I suppose, however Id do a full spray when it really needs it

they fit up no probs. one prob, I suppose, may be the bracket... I feel I bent mine a little to get to fit? cant remember and they sit low seeing they are 20% larger as such, dayz kit covers that but stock front bar may not I still use the stock holes for the air feed, just a return feed fmic off ebay now (apexi, for 180sx; I did have the r34 cooler for half a year tho), fits in the stock front airdam perfectly

it doesnt matter what kind of motor vehicle you drive the police will do just that - police their surrounding area. fair enough, thats what they do. however, if your vehicle draws attention to yourself, then accept that the powers that be may raise an eyebrow and watch for any little reason to pull you over Im glad I have a stagea, it looks stock and while looking nice doesnt draw undue attention, I believe It also comes down to how you present yourself, both on the road behind the wheel, and to the officer(s) if you have indeed been asked over for a question or 2. ** Ive had a bad experience with an old scottish policeman and his young prop.constable. Pulled over, 5 cars in total. 2 went on, 3 stayed so had 5cops walking around me 3 left, these 2 stayed and frisked me, searched my car (presumed stolen Vp; my dads work lease car, i was 16.5), told them there was weed in the boot (lol) couldnt understand the old scotish highlander and the young punk was just that I refused to sign the black book they recorded everything into (it made me sound like a tool), went to court, and had everything thrown out by the judge. There was no proof for speeding (80 in 60, I said yes I was over the limit, 2am Hackam West Cottaeg lane back road, wide, no lights). I was followed thru the back roads (hills, where my parents live) with highbeam right on my arse, I had no idea they were police, I figured hoons out to beat me and pinch me old mans car (went out for ice coffee and cigs). The backroads are gravel, so I drove along the wheel tracks (middle of the road, like all 100% of traffic up there does) with them up my arse in high beam. I lost them over the big dipper on Kimberlys Road (lol, I love that big dipper, heard from my old bedroom and seen so many accidents there, haha), or so I thought lol. lghts everywhere. I took photos of the road in question (dangerous driving, and driving with undue care charges, speeding was dropped as no proof) and showed to the Judge that I in fact had done nothign wrong, and i was dismissed. the Prosecuter was red in the face and the Judge put him in his place. Oh lol I didnt swear by the bible; when asked I said Im antireligeous but swear to tell the truth. lol ** had some good times too, riding thru the hills for 9 yrs every weekend, never pulled over. Got no-noed once (one finger wave " no no") but that was all, in all those years of high speed action. But whatever happens, if youve done wrong and been caught then face it. as simple as that. I dont ride anymore, I didnt want my luck to change. With my car, it looks stock, I drive it like it is stock in most areas, but give it a whirl here and there. if it gets looked at so be it, but there s far hasnt been any reason to look at my 'girl. Got the Stag

yeah the stagea's run the R34 plug series 1 and 2 I guess my post was a silly question; my bad. Went to Boostwerx today and they reckon, with the info I have, that they'll have it wired and tuned.. theres a guru auto sparkie floating around they know so they are confident of a positive outcome. just gotta wait till end of Feb.
-
has anyone reading this wired up a R34 power FC into a R33 ?
-
that would be nice r34 powerfc's are for GTT's yes, thats all there is for the RB25's
-
you, SIR, are a legend thank you Now Im confident I have all the right info to get this to work Ive identified the differences between the 2 pinouts, so a simple rewire cut n shut job can be done I reckon a qualified auto electrician, with full insurance in case they fry the pfc, will be able to do the wireup for me I dont know electronics and am not comfortable doing the wiring myself That includes Andy's "secret squirrel trick" using a 10.3V zeneer diode between Pin51 and Ignition and a 400ohm resisitor between Pin51 and Earth at this stage I wont be going to a mechanical auto shift setup for the gearbox, maybe later, maybe later
-
Yeah Id hope for sure for a 200awkw tune It may be that I have to have a mechanical shifter installed by MVs but there are plenty of auto r33's out there that dont use this, but use power rfc's, so it should be ok. The only issue I see is cutting and rewiring a couple of wires. With the correct pinouts (I have R34 skyline and Stagea pinouts, there are difference) Im sure a qualified auto electrician (with full INSURANCE in case the Pfc blows, lol) will be able to do the job for next to nix.
-
Anyone care t0 confirm the following? cheers
-
It will work rewiring will need to be done, not much tho the Stagea ecu uses a R34 ecu plug as simple as that

R34 Gtt Stock Side Mount Intercooler ---> On R33?
Tangles replied to WOG BOY's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
around an 18% upgrade by memory (in larger area size) definately a bolt on "upgrade" modification however I feel the prices for the units are overly inflated. -
