  1. OK, thought Id put it all up somewhere: dump pipe $20 plus post front pipe (from dump to catconverter) $20 plus post SMIC and bits $20 plus post R33 GTR rear KYB non-adjustable shocks, and front and rear lowered springs $150 plus post (or $100 for Tanabe springs only)
  2. for $850, thats not that bad an idea - with the Dayz look, you have plenty of space for a medium-sized FMIC and can use return air feed piping route (for legalities). I hacked the centre #plate section off tho on my S1 meh
  3. PM sent - not sure if I can or cant make it tho at this stage...........
  4. I can wait - I'll just grab yours when you're finished with it Stan
  5. Catback will work, will need to add a 20cm long section somewhere tho. my catback system is from an R33 (sorry, not sure if 4 door or coupe), and has a 20cm piece welded just behind the muffler - perfect.
  6. yah, spot on the money...... edit: my 1st tune towards end of 2005
  7. BMC is very big in the motorbike scene - most common mod is a aftermarket muffler and a BMC panel filter....... top quality with awesome filtration and supreme air flow.
  8. very very rare - worth buying and storing for a decade 13 were made only, 6 for race and 7 for road.............................. hence the price.
  9. you have a safc, and perhaps R&R you say? so..... query - has the safc been dyno'd and properly tuned as yet?
  10. by gods thats cheap nice work, cheers for the advice............. considering when CoolPC grabbed 5 windscreens from NZ 2 years ago they were like $600 odd each (1 broke, so to cover costs they had to be sold for $800 lol - soz about that Terminal !)
  11. I used this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-5-Interco...1QQcmdZViewItem and supplied my own 4ply silicone hose with double bolt-clamps to every end.......... worked out all good
  12. too much IMO - K&N panel for a R33 IS the same size as a VR / VS Commodore. sooooooooo - buy a VR Commodore K&N panel for $90
  13. meh, K&N panel filters are like $100 for commonwhores, and apexi are slightly more I believe. factor in the cost of a CAI unit (say $200) and a pod (say apexi for $120) and therefore a $160 highflow top brand panel filter is half the cost..................................... I already had a K&N pod on my RB25det, so I bought Maxx's cai box for $200 to help with the heatsoak and better cool air flow. Sounds like I coulda saved $40 !!!! hehehe
  14. Slide Performance - go to sale section, traders...... under $800 using your turbo for the highflow. edit: here we are: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...131723&st=0
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;hl=windscreen some info with another link ?
  16. factory mags I believe, quite a few auto Series1 have those.......... nice to see you've gone back to the RB's, and a Stagea at that. Nice work car BTW !
  17. Im not a chrome-boy fan, but those standard looking 18's look rather OK to me. Maybe a set of Whiteline springs from SK is in order ? .............. glad the boss is happy. Seems harder and harder these days to keep 'em smiling!
  18. I have no lag.... I have read that the SITC can actually help decrease lag too when setup right, but Im unsure of this claim. Sorry Pixl8r I havent got back to your PM, been tied up with my own personal issues I guess, apologies. That x-force price you mentioned to me seems like a pretty good deal ! As far as a bellmouth dump goes, search Flynn Performance, you'll see 'em for $200, or chat to JustJap where I got mine from in stainless steel. The hiflow panel air filter is a step in the right direction, your R34 standard SMIC will do the trick, so all youd really need is the exhaust for under $800 as discussed and *maybe* one day a 2ndhand safc to map it all nicely on the dyno. No reason why you wouldnt see 140-160awkw then. Hard to predict tho Interesting to read Wolverine that the bellmouth was a better choice on your setup, nice !
  19. Nuts man! :sorcerer:
  20. search R33 exhaust on ebay; you'll come up with a 3inch bellmouth dump pipe from turbo to cat, and a 3inch highflow skyline catconverter. $400 delivered for the 2. Unleash the beast thats in your turb setup mate ! Did ppl know that a R33 skyline exhaust system WILL fit?, so buy a used catback system. It'll be 20cm too short, so cut it and weld on a 3inch piece. This is whats on my car, cheap but it does the job. 160awkw on the standard turbo is testiment to the efficiency. Mate, you'll lose shiteloads if you go to sell the GT30 highflow now. Look around and you'll be able to knock up a full 3inch system for $800. Then you'll be impressed with the setup youve got, no doubt. edit: modifying is never cheap tho, lol as we all know..... maybe look for a used safc too?
  21. Ive got some R33 GTR lowered springs Id let go for $100 for the 4
  22. Mike, you took a risk... no doubt about it. But for the price and the perceived condition (photos when in japan, info etc) it was a calculated gamble but it paid off hey ! got to be happy with that ! Im not a gambler, hence why I bought one already rego'd but yet not from a dealer.
  23. LOL - love it... that'd be a damn funny online-gamining or forum name got a few performance mods planned ? nice car hey, good pickup. Ive got nissan spots in my S1. pic from compliance 2 septembers' ago:
  24. lol - might be a daughter, or 4, Alex
  25. The easiest tip is to buy a private sale Stagea in any of the states; go for as stock as possible (within reason) to get it thru your Transport check station (in adelaide we have the infamous Regency station), drive it home to wa or freight it. If its already been regod etc and isnt 'outrageous' so that it wont pass a check without bucket loads of $$ mods to return to stock... then you cant go wrong. I did this a yr ago with a 18k Series 1 auto in qld, CoolPC was the owner, although I never used these forums back then so I didnt know that at the time (doh.... nah lol got a top deal in my opinion). Very stress-free way of buying a Stagea at a proper price.
