1997 Stagea's can be had for like 15k onroad freshly imported. Generally with around 80000kms etc, twin sunroof, AWD, most are auto tho. Plus I highly doubt youd be harrased by the LAW when driving a Stagea this one's for you Nozila - the LAW thinks a Stagea is a cheap-mans Volvo! :sorcerer:

damn right. Ronin33 is the only one who really knows what happened - its not always easy to type the exact story the way it exactly happened. From the basic sound of it, it was a terrible experience. He's obviously shaken up (and fair enough too - if someone had put my childrens lives in danger Id be freaking out) so pls everyone think of that when you respond with your replies. Our lives are so very stressful thesedays, and that stress transposes to violence on the roads all too quickly. If all readers here could recognise that, maybe we can infact lead by example. Drive safe, drive politely, drive with your wits about you. Ronin33 - how is the young'un today? Is she all ok?

I have stnd dump pipe and dump-cat pipe, and a stnd airbox and panel filter if you need to borrow them. FYI: I keep my electronics LOCKED in the glovebox, and leave that key at home. Plus I made sure my suspn was set at 360mm front and rear so they cant get me for too low or ground clearance issues. Oh, and I use plain looking R34 mags............... as the one thing I dont want is a trip to Regency. Good luck. Brendan

Mate, Im horrified to be reading this. I offer you my condolences and best wishesto you, your daughter and your family. I hope neither you nor your beautiful young'un have bad thoughts about this in the future, I hope she sleeps ok and isnt too disturbed by what happened. How is she? Life these days is so dangerous, nutters everywhere. Hell, even my old man is a nutter when behind the wheel of his Nissan Patrol - I HATE these damn huge mofo 4wd's with a passion. For some reason drivers tend to become "god" behind the wheel of these monstrosities.

Intercooler Cleaned And Fins Straigthen Suggestion?
Tangles replied to SysLink67's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
50 % Metholated Spirits / 50% Kerosene mix, pour in, shake x 50, pour out (not into drain - cheers) repeat until the pour-out portion of the above instructions is clean to straighten fins, use a fine fine screwdriver costs nothing but an hour or so of your time -
got a set of Keihin flatslide carbs on my Honda Fireblade (for sale) love em. the sound of flatslide carbs opening up at xxxkmph is heaven. tinkered a little with the tuning myself, but left the overall setup to an ex-500gp racer who resides in Adelaide; he's a wizz and charges $30ph. however, when the tune gets on in time you can definately tell that the carbs are going "off" as such. good luck with finding a reputable tuner tho.

*** Not meaning to cause embarrasment to anyone with this reply. *** Moderators are generally top lads and perform their tasks with perfection ( decent suck-up?) As a general user you MUST respect the moderators. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...8086&st=260 Mods, honestly have a re-read of that thread ^^ some of the behaviour there 'wasn't right', in my personal opinion. However, thats just an observation from a meaningless twit (ie, me) Please take note that I am NOT pointing the bone at anyone, just putting up 1 particular thread where Mods and General Users alike may have gone too far with their respective reply's. However - keep up the good work!!! Now, where's that ban? I can feel it coming................. lucky I have one-only "Get Out Of Ban Free" card. lol, joke. *** Please, no disrespect for anyone in regards to the linked thread ***

I Need Help Choosing The Right Car For Myself
Tangles replied to tomk's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
lol dont be stingy - 11k is what itd be worth and yeah, a lot of things on the car 'could' be defectable...... being pulled over and checked is a risk you take by simply owning a skyline, whether stock or modified. -
Nice.... dayz bodykit with the optional Momo steering wheel ! mmmmmmmmm Good luck with it all. Suspension - look at the Group Buy thru Sydneykid. Bilstein shocks, Whiteline springs and swaybars. With the exhaust, dont settle for cat-back, definately go turboback, 3inch. Now the wait begins, hey. hehehehe

Cheers deluxe, its a 50/50 really, whether the pain will 'go' as such. Should do, but by taking out the kneecap it just opens another can of whoop-arse. Black32 - know Exactly what you mean. And thats how Im taking it. Once Im thru with the straight leg brace I'll have a need to buy the BEST brace possible, and become very good friends with it for eva and eva (kneecapless ppl have a habit of falling over a lot) The tibial work is going to be a pain in the, well, tibia. Had a large splice of the tibia pulled up and repositioned back in 2000; leg wasnt supported properly when I got home & tried to get onto the bed - was the worst pain Ive ever experienced. Not recommended. See if I cant get any nurse specials tho jk

One week to go........... Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy + Patellectomy to right knee Looks like its min 6wees in straight leg brace non weight bearing, so wont be driving the Stagea again until Xmas I suppose. Sad Lets hope it works to plan tho, I dream of being pain-free

It could have been an aftermarket button. see Group Buys for details of 2wd/4wd split switches

So far my unwritten rule has been to tune the car (dyno - safc/sitc) in the middle of Summer. That way she feels all ok in the heat, and super-dooper in Winter

lol, it all went wrong. got the car up on jacks, rear wheels off; ready for new brake pads & braided lines..... 1st caliper nut, pull tight, cracked the nut seal & put my knuckles into the inner wheel arch. doh. 1st nut made me go to hospital, lol, 3 stitches to a knuckle joint as we could see -everything- inside.................. she was preeeetttty open ! lol, used a scalpel to scrape the black undercarraige gunk out off the bone. bwahahahah ! oh well. will be interesting at work while i do everything lefthanded. got a months worth of work to get done by 26 october, kneeop date. man im such a retard sometimes

must drop the front driveshaft. dont just pull the fuse - attessa repairs arnt cheap. madaz drove his GT4 with a space-saver rim on for a while, shagged his system, was a 4k fix I think. always drop the shaft.

lads, I *heard* that they have had a camera out in the hills in a wheelie bin for a few years now. plus the summer helicopter buzzing overhead in the hills plus the unmarked blue BMW sports bikes country cops are generally good - been visually no-no'ed a few times after overtaking manouvers & the slight increase in speed involved in such a procedure when riding, but never got fined - luckily. edit: I should point out I never got pulled over, nor received a fine, when riding thru the Hills. Thats the only type of bike riding I did for 8yrs, stayed out of populated areas. after every ride I used to stress tho for 4 weeks wondering whether "something" was in the mail. I wont ride again - I think. although I maintain the safest place for a sports bike to be put thru its paces is in the Hills and NOT in the metro area.
-
bad luck, sincerely. BTW - you cant assult a thief, as then you end up in more serious charges.
