  1. lol can be for sale, hehehehe, in return tho Id like to be out of my house debt! hence the 95k comment I paid just under $400 by memory to ship the stagea from Brisbane to Adelaide, via Adtrans
  2. No, I mean $95,000
  3. Cheers Howie. lol, I expect to be using my PC a fair bit over the next 4 weeks during recovery; go BF2. might try overclocking the unit (p4 3.4, gigabyte mobo, 2gig ram, 7800gtx, raid 400mb sata HD, 9 fans) to 4000, havent gone past 3700 (8%) as yet but its been real stable and heat hasnt been a real issue
  4. Ska's car is a TRUE sleeper. had a power tune I believe of 230awkw on the stock turbo........... with a highflow and poncams surely 270awkw could be achieved. add in a bodykit from sau-member AMS and it'd be a beast mine can be bought for $95k
  5. cheers lads, good day to you all
  6. I know nothing about laptops. Nothing. Do Toshiba make their own components? I simply figure seeing that Asus manufacture top motherboards and videocards (that cant be argued) then a laptop from Asus should be good quality. Budget was originally $1500. Then one of the bosses suggested he wanted core duo (let me point out that the 2 bosses have never used a computer in their life until the past couple of months), so I upped the budget to 2grand to accomodate this. My suggestion was sata HD, 1gig ram, min 1.6ghz, etc, and I havent seen a new Toshiba with those specs for under 2k. Cheers anyways, but Ive decided to get them the Asus F3JP, something that will last these 2 minimal users a good 5yrs or so. All they will be doing is word/exel & emails for work, rarely , and internet browsing & maybe using the laptop with a tv tuner down the track. Are Assus considered to be un-reliable ? meh, Im not concerned either way, 18more hours until my surgery, is the biggest worry on my mind. Brendan
  7. cheers. I chose asus as they are manufacturers, and I figured they would be more reliable over 5yrs then Toshiba or the like.......
  8. Getting 2 laptops for the old cronies at work. they have just started using pc's, lol which one would be your choice on a 2k budget, each? Ive recommended Asus, in particular the F3JP over the V6J but Im not with it in regards to laptops (never used one) and core duo etc. http://www.asuslaptop.com.au/asus-notebook-special-deals.php or http://www.eyo.com.au/prod_P-V6J-P_proddes...1181806S1G.html sweet
  9. autech 260RS Stagea, rb26dett awd 5spd brembo's, etc etc etc
  10. yeah same Steve, oh well wont be driving for a few months tho post up pics.
  11. lol or perhaps the less you pay on rego....................
  12. for sure, steel wool in the muffler, however if you are taking off the turbo the stock dump pipe etc is a 5min boltup job, for piece of mind that the zaust isnt an issue. either way, best of luck with regency etc.......... damn what a stress/nightmare. Its just not right. man, my Stagea is a 10yr car no doubt. Next mod will have it around 200awkw, fully sorted. Im fairly sure she wont have a problem being picked on, as they just look like a discreet car IMO. A nice & safe family wagon I feel Skylines will forever have a 'bad name' attached to them in the eyes of the law, unless the practices of the law enforcment agency changes for the better and focus to more important matters. Yeah right. All my early cars were deathtraps - build & quality matters Top all-round performing cars should be encouraged as the car of choice; slash the road injury toll.
  13. some nice setups there.....
  14. SERIOUS??? lol, doh, I thought they were 444cc............. my bad, apologies
  15. lol, looked fresh faced and 18 to me if its anyone here - nice car! fmic, mags, lowrd, zaust, etc
  16. injector size.............. 20% exactly increase in size
  17. saw at crnr South Rd / Pimpala Rd down south a real clean R32 GTR silver, with.............. P Plates. wtf!!!! geez, what a top p-plater car. a bit better then my 1967 Type 3 wagon Volkswagon when I was 18.
  18. Neo has upgraded brakes, too Neo engine is an update model, etc etc, and the turbocharger exhaust housing is slightly larger too. When I got my series 1, prices for the series 2 were at a minimum 8grand more. I used that 8k for mods to my series 1 Dayz bodykit 1997 Stagea - definately the right choice for me at the time. good luck with it Brendan
  19. keep it and add an Apexi SITC as a piggyback unit, to controll the ign. timing easier, maybe ? dunnoh myself tho.
  20. as an 18yr old I spun my olds '87 Landcruiser diesel (non-turbo) at a roundabout turning left, by driving at 20kmph thru a deap lengthy puddle. amazed me at the time, had a complete lack of control. I had just left work and there was no way you could hoon a SnailCruiser at that speed. when water is on the road SHITE can and will happen. good to hear the funds for another skyline is growing Thorpe.... perhaps a AWD Stagea should be looked into?
  21. who said anything about fitting in? bleh gotta love the nymps Stagea pic tho :sorcerer: sweet ride (edit: whats the suspn youve got?)
  22. I was forever hitting 'oil slicks' as a motorcycle owner......... we're talking hi-power bikes nicely kitted up and with the very best tyres. As a car driver, no neither have I. However my wife has, in our old VR5ltr sedan, spun it. :sorcerer:
  23. sounds like Rich and Retard. may be time for a SAFC or a better piggyback / full ecu. at same time add a larger fuel pump....... would be all good (hopefully) then good luck
  24. oo oo ! thats the size Im thinking of getting! If you ever want to sell 'em to upgrade, drop me a PM
  25. perhaps buy a GTS4 and also a Stagea frontcut? use the engine to get you a AWD RB25det conversion, and I know plenty of Stag owners would be interested in the front bar, the bonnet, the side panels, etc. you'd make your money back easy IMO.
