Jack up the car onto 4 wheel stands, take off the wheels, and TIGHTEN the bolts that hold on the Brake Calipers to the wheel. Id suggest that maybe one of the caliper bolts is loose (may not have been tigtened properly in compliance when they checked the brake pads), therefore the caliper is moving slightly under heavy braking load forces. Worth a 1hr check anyway. Good luck.

glad that you & missus are ok... thats the main point. next car definately do the ring-around (not internet) for quotes. ................ awd is handy too.
-
Id suggest youd pull 130 easy up to 140 awkw at 12psi with that little list. nothing wrong with 140awkw, enjoyed that setup for a while (with a R34 SMIC) I admittedly enjoy the 160awkw at 12psi a lot more tho .............. and I suspect I'll be a fan of 190-210awkw at 1bar too with the 'cooler, just buy a cheap core and a pipe kit (ebay, lol) and mock up a return feed pipe setup. not expensive at all.

Additional Security? Got An Alarm & Immobiliser...wat Else?
Tangles replied to 32line's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
total agreement - a aids-infected boot monkey would do the trick however, if upkeep is too demanding (ie toilitries and feeding etc) then direct wire your fuel pump to the battery, utilising some 30amp fuses, and whenever you lockup the car - pull the fuses. Fuel pump wont work then, therefore car cant start. -

Powerfc In An Auto Stagea - Could Be Possible Soon!
Tangles replied to pixel8r's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yeah, the PFC has been well discussed over the years, a great search topic for hours of reading! Hell Gary Im sure youve replied to tens and tens of threads here on SAU about it. Im sure there would be a way around it tho, with big R&D $$ spent and a test car or two - not mine tho Surely with enough r&d $/time spent someone out there will one day be able to run some settings on a PFC and other settings on a standard ecu. ? I rememeber reading when SITC's were a big unknown with auto's etc................. However, Personally, I was more interested in the comment "The better option is we are currently looking at full access to factory ecu for mapping." Pricked up my ears at that; with the $$ Ive invested currently invested into a sitc/safc combo & 2 tunes (soon enough to be 3 tunes) on the rb25, Id be interested in finding out what exactly can be done with remapping to the factory ecu. And where its accessible in Adelaide. -
looks like fantastic family fun ! look forward to giving it a go at some stage........ along with a qrt-mile run & some WOT track sessions

where did you get tese Hi Pressure EFI hoses from? links and prices? cheers ! -
yup, true 'dat. It certainly wont be a big unit, however there is a place in Elizabeth that makes kit-form portable spas ! I dunno, but 4k would be my max-budget, this cash will have to come off my home loan so it needs to be minimal. really, at the end of the day, Im just after a spa big enough to relax my weary legs in 3 person is fine, one spot for my little wifey, one spot for me, and another spot for my knees lol kit spa: http://www.nomadcorp.com.au/ $3500 or: http://www.duraspa.com.au/models/capri.html as you can see, nothing major. just something that might work. dunno, its all new to me.

lol Dean too right; my view exactly. as we all know, it aint that easy. Unless you were born with a silver poon in your mouth (nothing wrong with that, good luck to whoever was), it take damn hard work, and a long time of committed ongoing efforts to reach your goal. fact is if you plan on having a family you'll need 200k for a sa-metro home. depends on your personal-standards tho I guess. sometimes you get lucky along the way, othertimes it all seems so hard. for me - well Im still plugging away, one day tho Im sure I'll reach breaking point, meh thats when I'll sell and changeover and getouta debt. bricks&mortar, wife&kids, and health are my 3 most important things in life
-
lol by the sounds of the 10k spa - your right price & my right price would probably be 2 different thigns I reckon ! I wouldnt go past $3500 for a complete 15amp portable small spa. Maybe 4k if we found something on 'sale' put my deposit down for a kickarse recliner, going to be one huge mofo of a uniit.

I used mine lol, it was out of date too, but was nice and 'red' best not to post it -
meh - rode fast bikes fast for years thru the adelaide hills and ranges etc, fact is the roads are 'generally' shit, both metro and country - for any commuter vehicle. some roads tho are fricken fantastic and are therefore the benchmark, but they are few and far between.

received !! awesome, cheers mate and thank YOU very much
-
thanks mate, catches up with us all in the long run hope you're going along all ok too - man Im so glad I started buying a home when under 20yrs old. probably the best decision of my life I guess, soon enough I'll be able to sell (when worth while) and rebuy and be outa debt but still with a nice family sized home - then maybe I can scale back working days and the wife can work a few days a week... keep a normal 1person income coming in and bring up the family all happy-like :sorcerer: all you need in life is bricks and mortar, and love (Im a dad!)

me seeing lots of nice 'lines out there..... and a few lambo's too

well, for me....... Ive decided to try to hold out here for as long as possible. let the place increase in value - and I thank you all for your advice ! pretty much, Ive been happier the past month as Im now on a morphine-type drug 2x per day and its helped shed up to 50% of my pain on some days, and thats a big deal too. life is a little more manageable now if ya get what I mean. those who suffer chronic pain will understand that. sad - we had a death in the family midyear, and the will was stuffed up, so that all cash went to the grandkids and property to her kids... lol she had dementia and didnt own property, so us grandkids got some cash. thanks Gma - put just under 10k onto the home loan this month and that alone saves me like $50pm for the life on the loan in interest repayments, $1400 onto a GiGaNtOr brand recliner chair for me to be a bit more comfy and relaxed and support these knees, a little to the wife (gotta keep em happy, you hear!) when the bike sells I can put another 7g onto the loan and bring it down to mid-80g's and perhaps grab a spa for my knees. maybe in the next 24months our house value will rise past 350k and we can look at getting outa debt then. see link for a top bike, lol cheers all, great advice in this thread, thought Id just share my thoughts. I dont mind being honest and upfront with info. best luck 2 you all with your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ brendan

yeah I said via msn Im 99.95 % sure Yudi needs the R33 GTR Powerfc Im positive the 260RS for 1997 and 1998 and 1999 etc were based on the R33 and N0T the R34, like how the Series 1 RS4 is based on mainly the R33 GTs-T, and unlike the Series 2 RS4 which has components based on the R34 GT-T. if it was me - Id ask a few questions to ppl on this great forum, and order the R33 GTR PowerFC............ she'll eventually crank over
-
got a K&N pod damned loud so I put it inside Maxx's CAI - still damned loud even filled up the CAI box with heat resistent foam stuck to the insides of the box (even the clear lid!)..... still f.damn loud when on boost. hopefully it might quiet down a little when I bolt up the highflow turbo.
