  1. Snap. Me too. Have you been on any of the cruises?
  2. Paid $60 today.
  3. Put me down for one. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to use the inner sleave for both gear knobs. PM bank details.
  4. I just reread the previous Group buy on these gear knobs. You have one in your car already right? When you get a chance can you check if the inner sleeve can be removed. The sleeve needs to be 55mm high, have an outer diametre of 20mm, and an inner thread of 10mm. If it matches these dimensions it should fit the other gear knob I have. Then I definately want one! Thanks.
  5. C'mon guys. This car needs a new home. Plenty of tyre kickers but I know you genuine buyers are out there. Not interested in a trade as I have 4 cars already.
  6. I'm keen only if the gear knob has an inner plastic sleeve with a 10mm thread that can be removed. The reason for this is that I still have a Nismo gear knob I bought from a previous group buy that needs the inner sleeve. I figure I could swap the sleeve between the two and use the leather one in summer when the black chrome one is too hot to handle.
  7. I agree with N1GTR. I used an R32 GTR as a daily driver for 4 months and whilst I love driving the car it's not made for peak hour traffic and loses some of its appeal. I now use my Peugeot 205 GTI as a daily driver and the GTR as a toy. I love every moment in it and realise how amazing they are each time I get in. The car will run better, require less maintenance and have less shit brake. As for running costs they vary. I imported both my GTRs and had to spend $6,000 on each when they got here (see the link below and take note of the word 'new' for an idea as to what I had to buy to get through Regency). All cars of this age will require maintenance.
  8. Nice work Rex. Love that Lancer sliding early around a long bend.
  9. This is probably a repost but I did a quick search and didn't see it. R34 GTR Z-Tune vs E46 BMW M3CSL vs 997 Porsche 911 vs E90 BMW M5 vs Lamborghini Gallardo http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...08689&q=skyline
  10. How do these gear knobs attach to the gear stick? Do they have a plastic inner sleeve with a 10mm thread and a screw at the top (inside the knob)?
  11. No, google is not your friend.
  12. Thanks Scooby. That's exactly the kind of advice I was after. Do you have any thoughts on the GReddy Type S coilovers? There is some info on them here: http://www.trust-power.com/overseas/produc...nce_damper.html
  13. Hi All, I'm after prices for Ohlins coilovers for an R32 GTR. Does anyone know who distributes these in Australia? Also considering GReddy Type S coilovers for the same vehicle. Does anyone know where I can get Australian prices on these? I know I can get them through Slidewize Imports but there is no warranty. Has anyone used either of these coilovers before and can offer an opinion?
  14. I've used Bendix Ultimate, EBC Greenstuff and Ferodo DS2500 on my R32 GTRs. I found the Ferodos the best and will buy them again. However I put on DBA 4000 rotors when I put the Ferodos on so they (hopefully) also contrinbuted to the improved braking performance. I have EBC Greenstuff pads (fronts) in a box at home that have only done 4000km of street use. If someone is keen make me an offer.
  15. On the topic of coilovers does anyone know who distributes Ohlins coilovers in Australia and does anyone have an opinion/experience on GReddy Type S coilovers?
  16. Can someone please pm me the details.
  17. Tried to download The Contender but there is only one leecher and no seeds. Duc or quagmire do either of you have the complete 1st series?
  18. In order of preference: Prison Break The Family Guy Lost Top Gear Simpsons Mythbusters
  19. PRICE DROP Will take the car to this weekend's SA cruise meet point 3 for any interested parties to view. PM me for details.
  20. I've got a GReddy Profec B in the white GTR. 3 dials - balance, low & high boost, and a couple of buttons. Simple to use but I tend to leave the dials in the same position as they were dyno tuned at.
  21. In order I prefer 34, 32, 33. I've bought two 32 GTRs. Want a 34 but might hold off any new car purchases until the 2007 GTR is available. But if I won lotto in the meantime I'd buy the Mines R34 GTR M-Spec Nur. The one on carsales has dropped from $195,000 to $165,000. I'm still a fair way off though.
  22. Dude I have 2 R32 GTRs, but the Bentley would work be A LOT more comfortable, especially if there are a few of you
  23. 18" wheels can go through Regency under the 15 year rule as long as they don't rub/touch any part of the car (guards, strut arms etc) in any position ie at full lock in either direction and anywhere in between. My GTR went tthrough with 18" BBS rims on it.
  24. If you're interested there is a way around this. It's simple too. But you could get in trouble if your work place reviews which sites you've visited.
