I'm interrested but have some questions. How many kms have they done - calipers/rotors/pads? (assuming they are not all the same) What's the thickness of the rotors? What brand are the pads? Are you able to post some pics? Cheers.

I was chatting wiith some mates the other day and one spoke of an older Top Gear episode where they compare a very, very fast car - an R34 GTR, to the McLaren F1. Does anybody know (if this is true) what season and episode it's in?

Spotted 2xFerrari F40s, an F50, a Ford GT40, a Merc 300SL (Gullwing), a Jag XJ220, an Aston Martin DB9 convertible, and a shite load of other Ferraris, Mercs, MGs, Porsches etc in Victoria Sqaure for the Calssic Adelaide.

went on a mini cruise last night with 3 other GTRs, 2 WRXs, and a RX7 S6 to Lobethal and back. Had issues with losing cars in traffic though. Engine was hot and brakes not as reponsive on way home but it sure was fun!

I know its not what this thread is about but... I have more trouble with Holden SS Ute drivers. Everytime someone wants to drag me at lights or pulls up next to me (whilst moving) and revs their engine it's a bloody SS Ute! What makes them think they could beat a GTR anyway? Mostly I ignore them and let them be... mostly.

French cars have won the last five WRC, this years F1, own Nissan (and green lighted the upcoming GTR)and have been responsible for some of the most innovative advancements in motoring. I've owned a french car, the Peugeot 205 GTI for 10 years and love it. I have 2 GTRs. I'd say there are more wanker Skyline drivers than Citroen and Peugeot drivers.

It's good to see people with these cars actually using them - even if they were towed to the strip. It always amazes me when someone lucky enough to have such a vehicle never drives it, and sells it 5 years later with 2000kms on the clock. I wish I was there!!!

I test drove one an loved it's instant torque, handling and standard equipment levels. The styling is less convincing. I like the front, I think the rear looks shite, and the interior doesn't have a 'special' feel to differenciate it from the garden variety Clios. But for $35k nothing (new) will touch it. There is a website dedicated to french cars: aussiefrogs.com , and I know the Renault Sport Clio (RSC) drivers have their own site.

I have a mate who is selling his R33 GTS-T. I think it is a S3 1997 model. He is asking about $17,000 from memory (don't quote me on this) PM me if you want his number.

I imported three cars through Prestige. None had their a/c degassed (which I had paid for) this ended up costing me $375 per car to be degassed and regassed. I was charged $1188 for storage fees on the Port Adelaide docks while the Department of Heritage and Environment argued with my customs agent over this issue. Two cars had to go to the crash repairer for a total cost of $2000. Two cars needed a complete set of new tyres (I had enquired about this prior to purchase). All up each car went $6000 over Geoff's highest estimates to get on the road, putting me $18000 over budget. Two of the cars are awesome. I won't use Prestige again.

R32 GTR. Not really a question. Perhaps you should work out what is important to you, ie looks ,performance, insurance, reliabilityand maintainence, uniqueness, etc. A GTR will cost more to maintain.

Tough, much better than the concept released in 2001, but I'll reserve the right to change my opinion until I see images of the actual car.

I saw "Sam R33" in Shaun's appointment book for today and wondered if it was you Sambo. I ran the white GTR there yesterday and pulled 185rwkW at just over 9psi, and 249.8 rwkW at 17psi.

Had my white GTR dynoed by Shaun yesterday. He got it up the drive no problem. It ran 249.8 rwkW, 18 kW more than my grey GTR! Now I have to decide which car I should take (unless the white one sells before then). I'm in.
