Saw a wild R34 GTR on Friday night about 8:15pm heading north on South Road just before the Sturt Rd intersection. Was white with Gt rear wing, looked like a carbonfibre bootlid, decals etc. Sounded brilliant. Saw a blue R33 at the Woodcroft shopping centre carpark last Thursday. Had a great bodykit but I didn't recognise which type. Owner was sitting in the car so I didn't check it out fully.

Change the R33 GTR for an R34 GTR. Still get the 4WD and 4WS, but newer car, fresher interior, may be about to transfer your mods, less common than a R33, and if you can afford the special editions like the N1 or Nur... tasty!

Yeah I got what I wanted in the end. I don't know about stuff that needs to be installed. You'd be better off asking someone who works there.

Last time I went to an Autobarn 20% off sale I was able to order in parts that and still get 20% off... but I had to pay for them on the day... and they ordered in the wrong stock!

I know that brakes have been discussed at length through various threads on this forum but are there any recently conducted reviews or comparisons on aftermarket brake disc, pads etc. I know MAXPOWER magazine (UK) used to do an annual brake test but I stopped buying these a few years ago. Do any other mags conduct tests or are they posted somewhere on the net?

I recently imported three cars from a prestigious australian company and had trouble with all three cars. The main problem which (IMO) is definately the responsibility of the Co. involved was that NONE of the air conditioners were degassed. This resulted in the cars being held up by the Dept of Environment and Heritage. I was charge storage fees while they argued with my customs agent. One car racked up $1200 in storage fees alone. Then the cars had to be degassed and regassed with ozone friendly stuff. This cost $275 per car. Sure the Co. refunded the money I had paid at the time of purchase to have the cars degassed (it was on my invoice) but I am still thousands out of pocket. Two of the cars had to straight to the crash shop with undercarriage damage and rust. Again I had to fork out thousands. Despite using their sites' cost calculator, when import tax was 15% and not 10%, each car went $6000 over budget. That's $18,000 all up and put me under a lot a financial stress!! I had allowed for some extra expenses - and there was several with each car, but not another $18,000. The lack of communication from the Co. also frustrated me immensely. And their solution to the lack of degassing was to lie to the government! Nice. (I followed their sugggestion and it resulted in increased delays and further $)

Hi everyone, I have a FIELD torque controller in my R32 GTR that is currently unconnected thus I am in rwd only (I've checked the fuses). I've gone to 3 auto electricians but none inspired me with confidence that they knew what to do to reconnect it AND get it working properly. I've done some searching for the instructions but can't seem to find anything. Does anyone have a set? Any suggestions as to how I can find them?

Hey Missinglink,m Where did you get your Maxxis from? So far I've only found Bob Jane stocks them and the guy I spoke to (Grant from Reynella, SA) said they only had MA-V1 and quoted me prices for these. He said the MA-Z1 were available but in limited sizes in Australia and he wasn't able to quote me any prices on these.

Hey austinpowers, I've got a white R32 GTR that will be for sale soon. I haven't got a final price yet as it's getting complianced, will need a service, dyno tune, wheel alignment etc. Hopefully I'll have all this done in the next few weeks. It will be under $30k, probably around $26-28k mark. I bought two GTRs and only need one.
