What's the monkey for? Covering the thief's eyes while they drive, rubbing poo in their hair, throwing a banana peel on the driver's seat so they slip off and out the door... Perhaps a snake or big dog would be more effective. Maybe Uncle Elmer and his shotgun. "SShhhh, I'm hunting thieving scum"

Yes! Cheers Flipmo and Ronin 09.

I remember a while ago there was a thread in here regarding brake upgrades for R32 GTRs. It had a link to some F50 Brembos and another set of brakes from Nismo I think. The post said "get these (link)". Does anyone still know what the links were? I've done a search but can't find them.

Thanks guys. I was wondering about the differences between models. Good work.

Those tops look great Deluxe. Any chance of getting a similar one with the GTR logo on it? How much are the caps & Beanies P1E?

I've taken both my GTRs to G TEK at Lonsdale. Andy and Mick seem to know what they're doing, call you if necessary, charge very reasonable rates, and get the job done in the time they said they would (this has been a big issue with me at other places). Nothing to fault them on so far but I've only been there 3 times. My cousin gets his MY99 WRX service/repairs done there, his mate's R32 GTS-T is currently there, and a mate of mine gets his Honda CRX serviced/repaired there as well.

Sorry to hear that dude. I was in town on Sat night and was going to park in the same area you mentioned but found a park on North Tce. Hope your car turns up undamaged. DIE THIEVING SCUM!!!

Finally got my white GTR through Regency (2nd attempt). Went from Bilstein shocks to Aus delivered R32 GTR shocks (thanks GTROB), to Jap delivered R32 GTR shocks to get through and even then the guy said it looked too low... so he didn't measure it. The exhaust was initially too loud - 92db @ 3200rpm - and with a baffle plate the guy still though it was too loud... so he didn't test it. What a legend. He could have been a real pain in the arse but chose not to be. Now I can replace all the stuff, get it dyno tuned, and finally sell the car. yay!

I keep seeing two chicks in a yellow R33 down south - Happy Valley/Woodcroft area. Not sure if it's a GTR or a GTS-T with a bodykit (I keep looking at the interior bodykits). They have probably been spotted and listed here before but I can't be stuffed going through all 22 pages to check.

It's a 2wd dyno. That driveway is steep!

I can't believe that was all you had to do Glenn!! Lucky man. Hope to see you out and about in that beautiful machine.

Good work Sam for organising the cruise and kudos to your codriver Duc for not getting us lost. It was nice to meet some more SAUers and put faces with names and cars. Looking forward to the next one although if we are going to play games can we play pool, or chasey rather than piggy in the middle.

Nismo Gear Knob On R32 Gtr?!
writeoff replied to Topaz's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I second that. -
PM sent. I'm in Adelaide.

Just giving you $h1+ Duc. No offense intended. Sure I'll be there. Yeah the GTR is still in rwd. Tried to get the auto electrician who worked on it before out this week but he's on holidays. Have been trying to get the white GTR ready for sale - it failed its first trip to Regency.

Non-Japanese for under $10k I'd hop in and drive my Peugeot 205 GTI. Sure it has 167 less atwkW than the GTR but it is still a lot of fun. For a new car I'd get a Clio Sport. Going up in price to an E36 BMW M3, E46 BMW M3, must be getting close to a Ferrari F355 now. Wow, still more money, a Aston Martin DB9, Ferrari F430 done over by Harmann turning Co., and maybe that new Bugatti - I can handle 400+kmph -what's that buzzing? *awakes with hand on it*

Go, go ,gone. Show... eh... keep looking at me... look at me, look at me... can you still see me in your rearview mirror? Hey a Barina... look at me, look at me.

You sure that's a good idea? Didn't Duc make 4 wrong/'missed turns last cruise... which he organised... and ran the night before to make sure the roads were okay And no stopping at the corkscrew this time. I can't have Duc ro-Sambo's-fl-his-ao at me because my car keeps cocking its leg and won't go round the corner with only one driven wheel. <_<

I'm keen. Let me the details closer to the date. Since we'll probably meet north again maybe you want to hook up before hand Deluxe?

I live acroos the road from a church. On Mondays it has AA meetings. Tuesday it has some kind of class for oldies. Wednesday is drama school for the young'uns. Thursday is Postwhores Anonymous. Friday is a day of rest, followed by all the sins that evening. Saturday night it actually gets used as a church! And the bloody churchies block my driveway. Sunday, as previously mentioned, is devoted to the Car Gods and track days.

I'm keen to see this. TTP eh... why are all events held north of the city? I've still got your number Ash. You want to meet up before?

Hi Pawley - yes I'm on aussiefrogs.com, as Scotchopper. Cubes, I rocked up at 2pm and hung around for just over an hour. I sat in my gunmetal grey R32 GTR and watched. Maxx came over to say hello between his runs.

Hi All, I recently ordered a Stage 1 brake upgrade kit from Unique AutoSports for my R32 GTR (RRP $795). The kit consists of 324mm R33 GTR dba 4000 series rotors , callper adapters, cap bolts, and shnoor washers (what the hell does shnoor mean?). It was only after ordering and paying for this kit that I've heard of brake pad overhang problems. I contacted Steve from dba to ask about this and he responded: "A caliper is made to match a certain radius of the disc. When you raise a caliper by means of a bracket it changes the working radius of the caliper and sometimes the pad will hang over the O.D of the disc in the middle of the pad on the top edge. It can cause issues with noise and additional stress on the edge of the disc. I'm sure you can modify the pad if it happens." Has anyone else experienced this problem , and if so, how difficult was it to modify the pad, and did this solve the problem?

Hi all, After checking out the Motorkhana action on Sunday I was interested in finding out what car club you were members of? What sort of events do they run, eg hillclimbs, circuit days, drags, drifting, motorkhana, and how often? Are they a CAMS affiliated club? How much $ to join and participate? What sort of cars/drivers are in the club?
