  1. The reason is if i show you whats inside and someone copies it it would be worth a lot less than i paid for it.Also if JUN has done all the testing would it be fair for some chinese guy to copy it?
  2. OK i thought you were having a stab at it! yes they are both shiny!
  3. There's a very big differance! i didn't take a photo on the inside for a reason!
  4. Thanks Chris!!
  5. Hi can you get R33 GTR vented bonnets, as well as carbon fibre boots. Cheers .also what would the price be.
  6. yeah sorry about that one. that was ment to be 380 with the same boost as we reached 360, 22psi. Chris i'll try and get round to show you and steve when i have time, around friday. Paul/Stacey just wondering what sort of torque your car puts out and i heard that your putting out a litle more power if that is possible. Cheers
  7. They look the same as we have on our car, doing the manifolds and dump pipes was one of the first mods we did.the power on the dyno went in a perfect diagonal line up. also the seller said he will not ship internationally down the bottom of the page. if you can get them cheap get them.
  8. Abflug i believe i saaw your car at CRD as well what sort of power did she make if you don't mind me asking. Cheers,Ben. PS.also have you done many mods and what turbo's are you running?
  9. Hey guys the pleunum arrived at CRD today. I picked it up in this afternoon, its going to give the car so much more Bling appeal. The plenum may not get us much or any up top as the turbos are pretty much at there limit. we're hopeing just to see more power down low. if we can crack 280KW at all four wheels we shall be happy. Also we are now going to have a look at what ratios are availible for the OS 6 speed box's. We would like to be able to hit around 80Kph in first with a 8500rpm rev limiter and a top speed of around 340Kph. this is so we would have good cruising revs in 5th.Also if we get the chance to see how fast our GTR can go, on an air strip or somthing like that. we are know just waiting on the 80mm Throttlebody to get made. The craftsmanship of the JUN plenum is the some of the best fabrication work i have ever seen. I'll see if Dough Boy would be kind enough to take some photos and put them up. Cheers Ben
  10. Just thought i let you know that the JUN Plenum, rocked up today.it's got heaps of bling factor. As for the OS box i spoke to BEN from otomoto and he said that retail is 16,500. i'll get the plenum, quatermile times and the dyno sheet around to dough boy, and see if he could stick them on the net. Thats if Chris would be kind enough. Thanks Chris! Cheers Ben
  11. Hi guys i didn't mean for this to get out of control with the comparison of the toque figures. as for the gear box i didn't know the Abflug made.one i was comparing to a freinds Hollinger which is noisy.and not that great to drive around the streets. also the hollinger ia rated at 700hp were as the OS is rated at 1200hp. i didn't mean for this thread to get all nasty. just that the car has lots of torque that's all. anyway were are looking foward to getting back to the track not this but next. Cheers Ben
  12. OS box is heliquial cut gears so they are not as loud and they don't need as much mantenace. as for all they other box's on the market,my father wants one which will be a lot quicker to change gears. as for the larger turbo set up instead of the plenum, out car has got allmost no lag and still pulls. The car is producing more torque than a R32 with a T88 straped to it,which also was on the same dyno. Also the price is 16,500au from otomoto.
  13. Guys i saw this plenum being designed from day one.also the one which should be availible for the Aussie VL RB30. These Plenum's would have to be one of the best looking, and would have some of the best design work in them for RB's.The only reason we did not get one was because they were not yet availible for the RB26. i know there was some great results for the RB30 at the time, and i believe every KW that they pull out of a RB25.Also i'm not sure if this has been mentioned but i know for a fact the intercooler the kits were originally designed with would beat most if not all the aftermarket coolers out there.i can't back these statesments up, as i've swarn to keep a secret. All i can say i've seen the kits and yes they are worth it. .
  14. as for suspension its awd, so it'll be a bit stiff all the time and it still should hook up of the line ok. as for NOS we would put a 100hp shot in to make up some extra mph once we are into 3rd.
  15. once we have finished the car as in JUN Plenum,OS sequential,Big Brakes and tuned on C16 we intend on hitting the Track and seeing what times we can get. Yes is would be great to take down a Zed from the No.1 place.is that the UAS Zed. We intend to one of the quickest Drag, Circuit and driven everyday car in OZ(Thats my dream anyway). Our goal is a 10.5 with NOS with these turbos. i know a lot of you will say thats impossible but then again most would not have thought you couldn't get 367AWKW out of GT-SS turbo's. The response of the turbo's is great so the car should be good on the track.
  16. Thanks guys and yes the OLD MAN said we can all have a drive (his sons that is)once hes done the fastest time he thinks is possible. Also i don't want to have a drive and then have the box die on me,so i thinki'll wait untill the new box is in before i try to beat him. Stacey/Paul i heard that you have got a new OS gear set in your car now is this true. as for the comment on the shift light and tacho. my dad dosen't like looking done when he's going that fast.he is 59. Also Stacey/Paul/Anyone what is a quick 60'' foot time and what should we be aiming for. Cheers.BEN
  17. if you want to buy one look at the 100mm ones avalible.like trust HKS blitz and soo on. were using a TRUST 100MM works fine.
  18. guys my dad was shifting at about 7300rpm when the car revs to 8500rpm this is because we have still not wired up his shift light and with a 4'' exhaust when your doing 2000rpm it sounds like your doing 6000. at for what sort of mph the car should be good for 125-130mph, this is what jim from CRD says anyway. the car did a 1.75, 60''foot as for times, dad said he can easily take another .5 of a second off. , thats with out any trouble he rekonds. as for the GT-SS not having much up top.they make peak power at 7500 rpm if anyone is questioning the GT-SS turbo's i'll let you all know before we go out which should be in two weeks time, and you guys can come and watch. also it looks like we are putting in an OS six speed sequential so we can really pushh the car. Cheers Ben and also i'm no good at computers so i'll write up the whole run sheet a little later.
  19. its got gt-ss turbos 260 tomei cams power fc ported head jun pistons rods bearings jun springs valve custom piping 4'' exhaust 700cc injectors 100mm trust intercooler type r bov sard fuel rail sard fuel reg twin 910 fuel pumps os tripple plate clutch 22psi blitz id boost controler 360awkw! cheers ,BEN
  20. mate they are both very good turbo's you may also wan to look at HKS GT-SS or HKS 2530Kai turbo's all good for 350kw at all four.
  21. As the tittle states our best time so far is an 11.7 at 115 mph we plenty left in her. aiming for a flat 11 sorry mods but i think people in this section might be interested on how these turbo's go. cheers BEN
  22. Its ben here fadi! thats stuffed up i'm really sorry about the cars getting stolen.i'll talk to at work.
  23. it has two rev limiters one for when the cars wheels are not turning and one for when the car is moving.ie on the drag strip and your at the line.when you have the throttle flat you can set the limit to say 7500 for getting of the line and once your moving you could set it back up to 9000.
  24. I'd be looking at the blitz unit ours has never spiked, just keeps the boost level constant untill th turbos can push no more.
  25. we just use those dump pipes which are one big pipe not the split dump set up. also from looking at all the jap brands i thinkHKS is the only one apart from the new trust dump/front pipe wich use the split style dump pipes. the first mods we did to our car was a twin 2.5'' into 3'' front pipe with a set of stainless manifolds and the stainless dump pipes. with useing a boost controller or anything else we were making 215kw at all four wheels. with a perfect diagonal line up with the revs. hope this helps,Ben.
