Hi guys i was thinking of putting somthing like a 75HP shot of NOS on the GTR once the JUN plenum and 4'' exhaust are done. does any one have any experience with putting NOS on a GTR? also what sort of gains did you or they get? i'm thinking nos do to the great cooling aid that it is(hopefully get the inlet temps down to 20 or less). also has anyone ran there GTR wich has low mounts on C16 with the car being tuned to C16.   2. mate i had the twin nismo one in before we changed to the tripple plate and it drove like stock!yes we did have a twin plate.
  3. As for before and after dyno's i will send you a copy once all is fitted up. and as for the question on how much, lets just say i could have bought a pair of HKS 2530's for the money. if i get another 30 kw at the wheels it will be worth it. i would love to see the car crack a 10.
  4. I can't get you any photos at the moment as the plenum that was at CRD is also sold. I think this car will have interesting results, as least if iy dosen't make power with the small turbo's everyone will know. and if the plenum makes power, all is good.

Hi guys i know some of you don't think the JUN plenum is worth the money, but if we can get 20-30 more KW's at the wheels, it's worth it. its on its way from japan, it shouold be here in a couple of weeks. once we have the plenum and QF 45 throttle body on we are also going to put on a 4'' exhaust. 1. This GTR should go like the clappers. 2. It should sound bloody unbelievable. i hope with these mods done it might be able to crack a 10 with no NOS and no sequential 6 speed. the next mod after the engine work while probable be a OS 6 speed seqential, fingers crossed!   6. I've got the 44mm Tial watsegate and that seems to work, it also has been mage with the best casting process that i hav ever seen. i think they about 800 bucks.
  7. you can not tune d-jetro with the power fc software CRD has to tune it with the hand controller i believe. give them a call. i saw him make 30awkw with low mounts and that computer.
  8. i've seen a gtr at CRD were jim tuned the car to 360awkw.using the jetro.
  9. over 500 kw at all our has been made with 2540's and nos at CRD.
  10. is it hard to modify the r32 exhaust to fit an r33? and again how much?
  11. go the low mounts its like driving a car with more capacity with the improved torque. have you been in a GTR with 300kw because thats heaps, and its mad fun.

  13. .Our engine doesn't make any noises at all. so there is no waiting for the engine to warm up for the noises to stop.i've been told that if the clearances are out thats when you get pistion slap. mate heaps of my friends cars have forged pistons and they have no noise iwould suggest you at least get the pistons done, i would get the rods as well as you don't want to have to pull the engine back out again.
  14. I'm up to 330 at the wheels with the GT-SS turbos. they seem to work pretty well.
  15. A 400hp hsv gts makes 225kw at the wheels.

  17. this thread is from sydney! and i'm only repeating what i was told from CRD when it comes to power and what boost at what RPM. as for look at the research that nisan has put into the 6 throttles then why did they have to re do it when they made the Z-tune skyline. it looks like i may have found a JUN plenum someone is selling and since this plenum has been do before at CRD and had good results, it looks like this is the one to go. i had a look at the Kaminali intake, it uses a sub-zero throttle body. both i think are 80mm (SZR is). as for the whole debate about power all i know is that pnblight has run an 11.3 or something like that and we would love to go as quick as that.

Thanks for the coments, but if we had different turbos such as pnblight's the result could have been the same. i think it's good to see at least most people are posting what has been done to there car, so we can all then make the choices so as our car behaves as we would like it to. I've read a lot from this forum and it has helped us decide what to put on our car. the problem is that with slightly different turbos it throughs everything up in the air.

As for the maximum power out of the GT-SS turbos i don't know of anyone finding how far they can go .i think if we do the 4''exhaust and the JUN/kaminali Plenum we should. we are also going to run C16 once the other things are complete to see how far/ fast we can go. also Jim has seen something like 600hp or so at the wheels with a car that had 2530's and the JUN plenum.as well as heaps of other stuff.
  20. I would like to try the single throttle body type. Jim has tried the JUN plenum and he said it just changes the car soo much. he said its expensive but it did wonders for a GTR wicj had a 2.7 litre kit in it. and very similar cams.
  21. i'd turf that turbo and stick on a GT-RS that you can know get.Put on a power fc and fix up your fuel system with some bigger injectors and a big fuel pump. then get someone good to tune it.

Croydons do all the tuning of the car and i saw jim do the cam adjustment and the differnce was just amazing. it comes on boost heaps earlier.hitting very hard about 4000RPM, i'll try to get a better look later but when your driving it and the power comes on you don't want to be looking down as it pulles with soo much torque. I'm not very good with computers i don't know how to put a photo up of the dyno graph. i can tell you that maximum torque hits at 125 kph in 4th with a bit over 7000n's. Can anyone give me advice on either the JUN plenum or the Kaminal plenum that hi octane sell i'll give them a call tomorow. the JUN is about 5000 and the Kaminal is 1500, and please don't say the diff is 3500.   23. The best ones i've seen are from Hi Octane these are a litttle pricey but if you want it done right give them a call.
  24. nothis was in 4x4 mode give them a call and see what they say. i know there are different n1 turbos ask them for some advice. very helpful ask for jim not lance.
  25. cheers mate, i worked it back as well the whole horse power thing that is. i think because over on the east side everyone uses KW and most would think that your car was 4x4, can you get them to change the settings from hp to kw and then do a run in 4x4 and see what the results are? it would be interesting to see what the diff is is.
