  1. Yes it is with piping call just jap or call CRD as they too are doing somthing similar soon. if you are mocking my with LOL next time i won't help!
  2. Look at two 02L they make over 400AWKW and have tops response. we're not there yet.
  3. Front mount $699 just jap. dump pipe $300.
  4. Ring HiOctane for prices on the throttle kit, i know they use to produce the kit.
  5. Tomei make the Kit. i believe its around 1500AU i could be wrong. they also make a kit wich replaces the original throttles with a one. at the front of the plenum. You would want to be making big power and also may consider the Greddy plenum.also i know that CRD are releasing a plenum for the GTR very soon give them a call.
  6. TRUST Type R plumbed back,Fully sick!!
  7. I would still go a set of HKS turbo's i don'r know why the americans don't like spending money on proven good parts. we have GT-SS turbo's, we are currently producing around 480hp at the wheels.with hardly any lag.we make around 220AWKW at about 4000rpm, with a riv limit of 8500rpm. Go the HKS path.
  8. Is it really worth saving a few dollars on a very expensive car and go with someone that not as well regarded or had nearly as much experience as Jim at CRD??? in the long run it will be cheaper to pay a little more up front, than have to worry about some back yard tune.... Rebuilding a Tough RB26 can cost big money, Trust me I Know!!! I am not doubting Autotec's ability to tune a GTR, but i can guarantee that they wouldn't have tuned a third of the amount that Jim has... Experience is everything
  9. GT-SS HKS turbz would be the way!
  10. What size would you recomend for a good club racing style turbo.HKS 3240?
  11. I would thinkthey would have a far bit of lag! they are rated at 380hp each.
  12. how may kays have you done, could the engine still be tight?
  13. Thanks! the whole topic of which one was started as the Neo has VVT and some other mumbo i'm not to sure about. Sk to keep costs done could a use s stock GTR head with stock valve train execept for a set of drop in pon cams with the new RB 30 bottom end and have the rev limiter set at 7500,would that be ok for 400RWKW? with good reliability? just as we want to get the car running first, and then we can build a big head for it later. i was also thinking that since he wants to use the car for club racing, it maybe better that he uses our GT-ss turbos to make an easy 350WRKW with the 7500rpm rev limiter. do you thinkthis set up would work or would it suffer to much up top? Cheers Ben
  14. Go the internal if you don't want fuel smell. also it makes it easy to mat up to you factory lines
  15. in my experience the 2530's come on about the same as stock turbo's(3500rpm), were as cars wich have GT-RS's kick hard at 5000rpm.
  16. I've seen a car with a 3'' high flow cat at CRD get the 4'' magig cat installed and power went from 200 at the wheels to 220 with nothing else changed.
  17. Thanks SK! do you thinkif we use the 2835's a 7500rpm limiter will be high enough? also do you have any idea when boost may come on with say 270 deg pro cams. of coarse it will have all the other stuff done such as porting and oil pump, all the usual build up parts.
  18. I don't know that much about about the 3L RB26 combo so if all i can rev it to is 7500 so be it.just run some more boost. cheers
  19. Cheers fellas, i thinkthe idea of the 3L would be good as i don't see the engine reving much more than 8500rpm. with the 2835's i think the car should have enough power for a good track car.
  20. When i said 2835's i meant in hight mount configuration. Also i spoke to CRD and they said that the torque you gain down low is not worth the revs you loose up top. any coments.
  21. Whats you phone number. just PM me
  22. Hi guys my mate just bought an R34 non turbo with the idea of putting a big combo into it and making big power.(up to 450wrkw). I suggested useing the RB 30 bottom end and using the GTR head.he has heard of putting the neo head on! as for turbo/s (he wants an external wastegate).I would use a set of 2835's as he wants to use the car for circut work as well.i would think that with the 3L and the work done to the engine it should come onto boost around 4500 i would think mayby sooner. any ideas with turbo combos and engine set up would be great. Cheers BEN
  23. I've seen N1's make 350awkw
  24. sorry i should have said that yes both turbo's GT-SS and 2530's can both crack big power but the GT-RS turbos will get you to that power quicker. we've seen 367awkw with our GT-SS turbo and i know of someone who makes over 400awkw with 2530's. GT-RS turbo's kick in like a big single, sounds mad on the dyno.
  25. Your going to struggle to make that power with that amount spent.if you want 300awkw you will need. power FC at least 550cc injectors some adjustable cam gears GT-RS turbos and a big fuel pump. and then when you want more get a set of 270 tomei cams and some valve springs and more boost.
