Occasionally.. and I mean on the very rare occasion.. you might get a real mechanic come to you in an RACV truck.. but usually if it's not a jump start/change of battery or a flat tyre (or keys like Jack said!).. they just say 'you need a tow'... they usually know less than me about the car (esp imports) or problem and I'm a girl! They're not willing to spend more than 5mins on it either. Even though you just waited 40mins for them to turn up and it's another 20/30 for a tow truck. So why bother, it costs more to join up to RACV than get a JagR33 tow home!! Last time I needed a tow, I rang Jack and he was there during peak hour in 20mins! Noice! And yeh most RACV towies have no idea about frontbars.

An awesome speaker is lined up for October!! Chris Muscat from Centreline Suspension.. he's also: 1990 Club Car Champion. 1st in Class 1995 Bathurst 12hr. 1st team Winton 24hr 1992. 2002 Victorian Sports Sedan Champion. and probably more stuff I don't know about He'll be chatting about everything suspension - track and drift setup and what you can do to improve handling and the like. You could just barrage him with a bunch of questions about his racing days though, caus that's always entertaining! He gives advice at track days all the time, so it should be good

a magnetic sump plug is just a gimmicky thing, it's supposed to attract metal particles to the bottom of the sump and keep your oil cleaner, not a necessity you can get magnetic ones off ebay if you're really keen but personally I'd just get any plug from autobarn so I could drive again
