I don't know how you all manage to lose your licence(s).. I haven't had a fine in 5 years, I've never caused an accident and I drive about 20-30,000k a year.. I drive everyday usually. On the other side, be glad you've only lost your licence and you haven't been to jail 3x for driving offences like one of my stupid brothers. Driving without a licence or on a suspended licence will definately end up with you in jail... and the sentence gets longer every time you get caught. Not long to go now Paul!

I'd have to say my vote goes to the Friday the 13th movies.. watched all of them in a row once <OMG why did I do that? Actually there's alot of what I class as 'D' grade horror coming out of the US atm. Shite acting, terrible, terrible scripting and usually really gross. They also think adding breasts every 2 mins will make up for lack of a decent script and money grants. Michael doesn't ever want to see that movie with the 'freak' raping the girl in the caravan.. ever, ever again.. might have been 'the hills have eyes' but I'm not sure. Ergh :\ There's another one where a girl gets left at a highway stop and is then stalked by a killer.. gawd. There's a million more badly made horror movies that have come out in the last 2 years, I vote for all of them

Guys, anywhere in VIC that you drive, it's highly likely you will be pulled over and defected for something, even if you just left your mechanics and there's a R/W certificate in your glovebox. Can you please keep this thread to notifications of actual defect station/booze bus setups (I'm only including booze buses caus of the risk of a defect there also).. including exact place and approx time you saw it ON the day.. a few days later isn't much help either, so not much point posting it. That would be super helpful, cheers guys

Agreed, and I don't see anyone offering to pay or chip in for the costs/settlement when Christian gets sued for slandering a business. I would also like it to be a free world where everyone can tell their side of the story and thus avoid making the same mistake but it's ultimately Christians' financial security at risk. As soon as you let one person have a free for all and hope nothing comes of it, everyone will want to do it... much easier to draw the line and stick to it. I'll just stick to PM's, phone calls and chatting in person when I want to have a whinge.

Car warranties from used dealers are generally not worth the paper they're printed on, esp when it comes to skylines because as soon as you mod the car, your warranty is generally void. You really ought to read the fine print in detail before letting a warranty sway your opinion or 'seal the deal' etc. Most of the time they will find a way to get out of fixing your car.

OMG I just got waved through a big booze/drugs thing in the R32 Miracles DO happen! I almost had a heart attack when I saw them and was dreading standing in the cold next to the open bonnet.. Not sure if they are actually defecting or not tho, but a ricer commodore was pulled over and standing next to his car.. Location: Mahoneys Rd Thomastown (both sides) - between like the carwash and freeway overpass I think Time: 11pmish Alt Route: Use freeway - Western Ring Rd is clear Targeting: Mostly commodores pulled over Finish Time: still going at present

Yep same with Michael, did the booze bus thing and blew a 0.00 and was told to drive up on the median strip and got defected for stupid b/s. So I think booze buses should also be posted due to this. Would be good if you guys could state if they actually appeared to be defecting people or that you're not sure. Dave - just keep it in the same thread. Thanks guys, especially Espo.. yeh try a secondhand tyre shop.. should be $50-75 each depending on how much tread and which shop really. Make sure you get an invoice/receipt and make sure they guarantee they are RW, caus some places are a bit dodgy and will try to sell you tyres with 90% tread... that's really more like 70%..

Ok had a look.. we actually have an RB25DE box not a DET. They are virtually the same (DE<>DET) except for the bottom as far as I can tell... ie it fits differently into the engine bay... which might not be a problem but it depends what's underneath in terms of piping etc I would think. 1st pic is RB25DE 96-98 2nd pic is RB25DET 96-98 3rd pic is RB25DE 93-95 4th pic is RB25DET 93-96 They have slightly different part no's but the alternate part no is the same and they look the same, so I don't think there is a difference between series 1 & 2.. Snorkel is the same for both DE and DET. Umm hope that helps If anyone wants an RB25DE box, let me know..

CA18DE, CA18DET, SR20DE, SR20DET are all different so I think 33's (de/det) will be different also. The hole for the AFM is on different sides/angles and sometimes there's extra holes and blah blah. (will look at FAST later on and let you both know for sure) I think we MIGHT have an RB25DET box but I'll have to check later, on way out right now and I can't remember. I know I have 2x snorkels if you don't get one with the box at least. I'll send you a PM later ~Kaz

A whole 10 min drive from Hells Angels in Thomastown funnily enough My car was parked out the front last night til I could pick it up.. safest place for it since there's cameras there.. It did seem like there were people inside but it was pretty quiet. Anyhoo you'd think it would be the first place they would check, but I haven't seen any action there in the last 3 days... I sorta agree with lethal injections.. but then if you ended up in jail for something you didn't do, it wouldn't be great then. I just don't think we as taxpayers should have to pay for foxtel, meals and a cushy life for criminals. Jails are absolutely full of drugs too, which is pathetic.
