  1. Must be the time of year for it.. When I saw the story title I thought maybe it had been on our street! Last night the cop chopper was flying around for ages shining their light up and down the street and then 10mins later 2 ambulances went flying past. :\ The chopper flies above the house all the time.. and this is a quiet street..
  2. Someone had about half the Renew factory put into a container.. was that you? Photos/descriptions of every individual part is a lot of work. I don't think you know how much work you're getting yourself into! Too many tyre kickers etc anyway.
  3. thanks dox!! big help I saw 2 cop cars in 2 min heading that way 30mins ago.. one of them got whiplash when he saw me coming out a side street.. explains why I guess!

    Sunday Night

We're playing pirates on xbox (sid meier's) There's nothing like ransacking, pillaging and dancing with the busty ladies. I yelled at the neighbours today, so now I'm trying to plot my revenge pirate style. Bit of a snore really, but we're pretty boring Michael flew a light plane today though, noice! Apart from that I have been doing SAU membership stuff for the last 3 nights.. Exciting times! Uni work sounds like fun in comparison. Hehe basti I love that sig
  5. No mounting on the pillar in VIC.. from memory it's because of potential head impact/trauma in an accident. Or maybe it was because it can block field of vision, can't remember which Anyway if a cop spots it you're likely to get pulled over. We put gauges in a triple gauge holder/plate from onautos.com.au and put it in the DIN panel in the R32. Don't know if they still sell them though. You can also buy cups.. but it's a really stupid law.. something like.. Nothing can be mounted any higher than 30cm from the BOTTOM of the dash (according to TMU). So I shoved mine in the right side corner and it's below the top line of the dash either way. Haven't been hassled for it (dbl sided tape is good) Actually you can kinda just see in my avatar.. the line of the dash starts to go up over the speedo cluster etc. Hope that makes sense, gotta run out
  6. Wow, I was wondering where they went!! When I lived in Surry Hills/East Redfern in like 97-99, it was 'ay sista you gotta dollah/cigarette' ..ALL the time. I even got 'mugged' at an ATM once.. except I grabbed her, almost broke her arm and got my money back.. anyway long story, she got arrested and I broke into tears AFTER she ran away lol. The biggest problem back then was you couldn't really say no to giving them money, but if you got out a wallet or reached into your bag for one, that's when they'd stick a knife into you and take your wallet. Noice! Anyway.. when I first went back a few years ago, after 2000, there was no-one! All shipped out. Couldn't believe my eyes. Nice that the gov't would ship them out for the olympics... but not for the decent locals who couldn't even walk to the station in peace, pfft. Sorry that you have to put up with them now. If only we could ban them from buying alcohol, they have no tolerance to it unfortunately. Ironically as Europeans it's our own fault, much like Cane Toads.
  7. sooo how did you kids go?
  8. how about you buy us new ones and we'll give you the broken ones.. lol
  9. lol OMG whatever you do, don't eat the food on jetstar if you can help it. Scarier and more plastic.. than McDonalds
  10. Really? Cool didn't know that I thought there it was just V Power/100ron Although Shell doesn't do too great in our cars anyway, lots of knock, but good to know! Thanks
  11. when we went to Cairns via Jetstar.. supposed to leave at 8pm.. ended up going to Troys til 1am! Had a nice leisurely dinner. Shame our GeoffGTRtaxiservice had already left the airport Plane left at 2:30am... Squashed knees against seats in front = 30mins of sleep max. We get in at 6amish and have to drive to motel without map.. geez I have good instincts as to where to go Anyway slept half the day and had to drive to Townsville the next day for a wedding so bit of a waste.. :\ but for $99 flights who can complain! (vs $300 each to townsville!) Anyhoo, if you don't want to go to Hawaii on Jetstar, let me know and we can swap.. Dee & I can go shopping in the Waikiki Beach market hehe PS Have fun & stay safe
  12. My lease has stupid conditions like 'must have oil pan under cars', 'must maintain garden', 'no pets' (have since convinced them otherwise & got a puppy hehe, still hiding the cat *cough).. I'm under the impression if we didn't adhere to that then we might be evicted (within legal timeframes) for 'breaking the lease' but I've never really looked into it too much... Anyway how's it going Al?
  13. Shell still have optimax?? I thought they only had 100ron now? There's none around here with Optimax. BTW PJ you are blind because there has always been an ultimate search on the BP site products/services > BP Ultimate> BP Ultimate locator Try this link.. http://www.bp.com/iframe.do?categoryId=901...ntentId=7017653 Geelong > Apollo bay > Geelong is easily done on one tank.. it's only about 100k to apollo bay via GOR or 200k to Port Campbell Have fun!!
  14. Depends what area you're in and how good an alignment you're after. We go to Chris @ Centreline Suspension in Thomastown, along with a fair few other SAU members.. can't remember how much they charge but they do a way better alignment than say.. B.J. for eg. http://www.centrelinesuspension.com.au/
  15. I grew up in sydney.. but since it IS home to the Swans it's hard to be supportive ;P
  16. gah! thanks! did you get pulled over?
  17. Actually it's $166 a year for total care. OR $71 for roadside assistance which covers you for 20km. Plus $40 joining fee. And a 24 hr waiting period. I've never spent that much getting a tow from Jack. I guess it all depends how often your car breaks down as to whether you'd even use RACV. 4 out of 5 times the RACV mechanic that's come to help in the past, knew less than I did.
  18. Congrats on the job! Geeeez nice time of year to be going.. I'm about half frozen already. You're not really going to Geelong pubs/clubs are you? hehe they're scary. But if you like chubby, cheap, 16 yr olds in boob tubes and short skirts it's all good! lol Don't forget to send me an updated address when you move Have fun! ~Kaz
  19. omg you obviously haven't compared RACV to Jack's $ anytime lately.. Let alone the quality and one of a kind... 'non-dent' & 'non-smash-frontbar' service that Jack provides
  20. your x2 :laughing-smiley-014: sorry couldn't resist
  21. last time we got a fine, maybe 1-2 years ago now.. I paid off like $10 a fornight/month for ages (via bpay ).. dragged it out for months.. then they just sent a letter saying they don't accept part payment, every time I made another payment it wasn't til the fine was completely paid that they sent a letter saying the points had been applied. Pretty sure I rang the info line at least a couple of times whilst paying it off and checked and there was no points there yet.

    Radiator Hose

The 180 and gazelle both have a plastic plug right underneath on the passenger side.. of course one of them was brittle and snapped when I first got the 180.. had to pull the whole freakin radiator off and bang it upside down to get it out lol. Luckily they are the same size Here.. try this, bottom left.

    Radiator Hose

There's usually a plug underneath. We use the Nulon 3yr long life coolant.. hmm can't remember the ratio.. maybe 50% You can take the old hoses to pirtek, HIS Hose or Repco and try for a match
  24. We have RB20 coilpacks, located in Epping.. I'll send you a PM
