  1. better? let's compare a few important points oiling system - NO rods - NO pistons - NO cam timing - NO tractability - HELL NO power/litre - NO weight - NO weight distribution - NO and even specific fuel consumption and emissions - NO resoundly beaten in every way that counts....apart from sentimental value...to you
  2. bumpitah
  3. me rikey very mus (note pccb brake set-up)
  4. so only the coolest ppl don't have 'pips'
  5. how could it possibly have lower unsprung mass with wheels that are 4 inches bigger (and wider) and brakes that are 80mm greater in diameter front and rear, with bigger calipers?
  6. o rly? the term supercar came about in the 60's for the Lamborghini Miura. the 1987 F40 not 'supercar' enough for ya?!- tell me how many cars since then have had a power-to-weight ratio of better than 440hp/tonne from the factory (and not forgetting it was the first road-legal production car to top 200mph) i'm sure it will, just as soon as that pesky bottom end is rebuilt ....
  7. looks like it's on the cards we'll cope
  8. the early version certainly didn't! the unit was tig welded to a modified cam cover (looked cool though ) man, that would have to be the absolute last mod you'd do to a GT-R that had everything else possible (2.8L stroker kit included)
  9. You've just asked the same question (in a slightly different format) Duncan posed that I've already answered John
  10. yes, but.... the R35 is a much better car
  11. it's bs anyway- if the bill was discounted to $25, each person would need to chip in $8.333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333......and so on and so on
  12. so it's all wrapped up in a neat little package then!!! /homer
  13. dude owns a GTt
  14. ima comin'....
  15. this couldn't possibly be true- because to sell cars in California, the engine has to be able to endure a 120,000 mile (193,000km) durability test without a component change (apart from filters and oil) or rebuild, and still meet emissions regulations.
  16. correct the clutch-packs in 33/34's run preload so that there is always some torque transfer to the front wheels
  17. He's recently proclaimed the Audi R8 to be the best daily-driver performance car in existence Guess where that's not made
  18. I wanted an R32 GT-R from the first time in saw one at the motorshow '91 (Bathurst cemented the deal), I finally bought one in '04 But, after 13 years of desiring, and around 3 of ownership- the novelty of 32 Skylines has worn off for me. They still make me look when I see a nice one, but the exterior and interior are just too dated now (VN style dash anyone?), and you seem to constantly have to fix little things. Having said that- If I find a flawless 32 GT-R in a few years for sale at the right price and with (extensive) well thought-out mods and reconditioning work, I'd say I'd be tempted. But more than likely my next GT-R would be a Series 3 33.
  19. it's not like the ordinary model will ever be going up in value on the second-hand market
  20. that's one seriously wiiiiide 33

select the 'My Controls' link at the top right, select the 'Edit Avatar Settings' option in the left hand menu of the page that opens, then either enter the URL of an image, or upload one from your computer- making sure you follow the size and format guidelines
