  1. well we wont hold that against it
  2. those oils you mention gt-v35 are too thin for old turbo engines, being used in warm weather and driven hard mechanic friend of mine recommennds at least 15W50 or 60 weight oil. you'll notice the difference in oil pressure straight away
  3. are you separating parts form the shell?
  4. but, but- it costs more to buy the wide rims in the first place! they'd be better of just buying narrower rims and fitting the same tyres anyway if it was just a cost issue very impressive co-ordinating of wheel offset, ride-height and tyre stretch....but utterly ludicrous all the same
  5. mebe i'll grab some hottie and take a shot of her on it sex sells, right?

  8. i wonder what % of people whining about the lack of a clutch pedal in the new GT-R would actually be able to afford a new one? hmmm.... maybe Nissan could make a cheaper manual version to appease all the 3rd or 4th owners
  9. you could probably try and braze a patch over it?
  10. I don't think 17 inch tyres come any narrower than 205
  11. if it's not on a sticker on the inside of the rim, you can measure the width of the rim in mm from bead to bead, then using a set-square, you can measure the distance (in mm) from the back of where the wheel mounts to the hub to where that line intersects the plane of the back edge of the rim that measured distance MINUS (the total width of rim, divided by 2) = the offset in mm (ie. + or - XXmm)
  12. i think it was a reduction in power of around 1-2% for every 5 degrees the inlet temp goes up. but don't quote me the main thing you'll notice in super cold weather is sharper throttle response and more low to midrange torque. in fact, the engine is more likely to suffer pre-ignition in really really cold conditions as the charge density at the point of peak torque will be much higher than usual (MAF based ECUs account for this though, and trim the spark advance accordingly)
  13. on the track naturally, yeah?
  14. Attack of the bogans Get a lock for your mailbox
  15. that is very odd what suburb do you live in?
  16. that place is getting the worst rep. you'd never pick it driving through- being in the middle of sydneys silicon valley and the university and all

  18. worst. google languages. translation. yet
  19. we clearly just need to park a Skyline there with one of these systems installed, and the problem goes away on its own
  20. to the seller: he means the width of the rims in inches, not the width of the tyres judging by the way they sit on the GTS-t, they look like around a +30 offset (assuming he's not using spacers)
  21. what power has it made on the dyno and what 1/4 mile times does it do?
  22. that's the most ridiculous tyre fitment i've ever seen
  23. hi there please use the search function in the appropriate area of the forum, as it's been covered numerous times the wasteland and the 'for sale' section are not the areas to post this kind of question if you can't find the info by searching
  24. bkc is just trying to keep the value of his R34 V-spec 2 high by demonizing the VR engine.....that is, making the wild and crazy assumption that he actually has one (it's a stretch, i know)
  25. that's crazy talk you'd kill yourself with an engine that potent
