this is ridiculous you think that any motors will be available for non-warranty related repairs inside the time frame of the factory warranty? reckon you'll just be able to ring up and say "err, yeah, hi- look: the motor in my R35 blew up. pls send me a crate motor so i can install it myself" unlikely

so slapping the engine in a different car doesn't void the warranty all of a sudden?

yes- tougher front bar and rear wing would be good but 10/10 for mechanicals

since it goes to 8, i wouldn't be worried but it could be one of two things - you have a heavier weight oil in the sump currently (like 15W60 or similar) - the gauge is out of whack (common with Nissans) if ur worried about it, get a mechanic to check it with a reliable gauge

i made my own one for my 32 GT-R once (coz mine was missing too) just like a V-Spec II, it turned out my car came with 17x9" wheels and 235 tyres
