    if it's all cold start city driving, with liberal use of the throttle once warmed up a bit- then it doesn't sound too weird first port of call would be to make sure the motor was well serviced and the timing was set right (ignition and cam)

    Exactly Why spend years and years and years on R&D and countless laps around the 'Ring benchmarking the car against Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos etc, if all you intend on doing is turning out a luxo-barge like a Lexus coupe? Get some perspective ppl- Hardly anyone in the market for a Euro car would be content to sit inside some Jap car as shithouse as R32/33/34's interior wise, regardless of how fast it was.

    well, if you were to directly transpose the difference between here and there- you'd be looking at it costing over $200k here (like the B-M does) but i know that it's not a direct comparison

    350Z = $65k R35 GT-R = A 350Z + 150hp (or more) + twin turbos + 7-speed DSG paddleshift tranny + AWD + 6-piston calipers with 380mm discs + carbon fibe + completely different engine = $80k? seems more than a bit hard to bleev

    blue-printing is rebuilding an engine to manufacturers factory specifications why would you want to do that for an engine that has to make more power than the factory intended?
