  1. If the U.S or Canadian Z32 300ZXs have the twin piston Sumitomo calipers like the R32 GT-R does, then the pads should be a direct swap.
  2. What model GT-R mate?
  3. Garrett T04Z all the way baby!
  4. About to send you e-mail, Adam.
  5. That's a doozy Wil. It's highly unlikely that using that oil will have caused that problem. I'm assuming the Motul oil you had was a 10w-x?, going to 5w cold rating in the Mobil 1 would have improved the oil flow to the lifter oil galleries at initial start up, if anything. You might need to elaborate on any other things you might have done while you were fiddling in the engine bay during the oil change.
  6. You can relax- I will be gracing youse all with my presence for this one. Let the steak burning commence!
  7. Worse than any horror movie. You sure those 32's weren't made by Alfa Romeo Mine looks fine wherever I look, but after seeing those pics... *breaks out in cold sweat*
  8. Standard turbos are great as paperweights. Back to the guys original question- A manufacturer would be crazy NOT to coat as much as possible with ceramic if it indeed 'never wore out', just think, they could claim to have the most durable, longest lasting engines of any manufacturer! But, in the world in which we live, if something rubs across something else (especially with additional heat being supplied), things are just going to wear down eventually, lubrication or not (geez, sounds kinda sexual, dun it *LOL*)
  9. Wil, damaging your head gasket is only a concern if your engine is being subjected to pre-ignition/detonation when run hard for extended periods (which causes massive spikes in peak cylinder pressure, hammering the gasket). Nissan head gaskets on RB turbo engines do their job very well. I'm assuming the gasket hasn't been fiddled with at some stage, but if your tune is spot on- then don't worry about it.
  10. Gonna be an awesome day. Get praying to the deity of your choice to keep the rain away
  11. Burnt is best. Respec, Steve-O.
  12. If you guys see the way Dave drives, you'll understand
  13. Scapegoating is what it's called. TWICE Sophie Delizio has been injured by O.A.Pensioner drivers, but it'd be political death to suggest that they should be targeted. So just go after the 'soft' target of young car enthusiasts instead, and talk briefly about introducing regular testing for drivers older than 65 or whatever.
  14. Well, how did that 4G63 go? What sort of car did it go into? Who thought it was a good idea?
  15. Will build you a replica out of a Datsun 1600, a 240K and an L-series Patrol engine for $50K ... Nah but seriously- That's super hawt! Do you get the S20 engine with it?
  16. So the fight is going to be televised at the Ari? I heard the promoters where trying to screw the max out of ticket sales and pay-per-view? I really wanna see Mundine get his big mouth caved in on this one.
  17. Am I in? Yes. Yes I am!
  18. Stamp duty. Biggest government scam yet. Buying a car? You must be rich!, give us some cash!!
  19. Oil pressure shouldn't go over about 5 bar when up to temperature anyway. Oil pressure over about 5.5 bar is not good for the seals in your turbo. The gauges can sometimes be erratic, but yours sounds okay.
  20. Apologies. Should be a good day for those looking to improve their car control skills. Will keep criticism more constructive in the future. p.s My car is a daily driver
