    Sub $150K for next GT-R seems v.unlikely. R34s were more than that through importers in '99 with some km's on the clock. Just look at what the NSX (another stand-alone model) was listing at before it was killed off ($245K+). Knowing how they price these sorts of things, it will prolly be $195,990 (Basic 911 Carrera is just over $195K)

    Very good crank to build an engine around. Good compromise between rev-ability and low-end torque production. Depends what the bid gets to I guess, but just look at the power rating of the parts!

    First thing I would check is the exhaust- Specifically, make sure the mounts are still secure, or have a look at the clearance the tie-rod has with the exhaust while the car is on the ground now that the hicas set-up has been modified. Whoever installed it may have messed with the exhaust hangers or something in that area. You've gotta use pry bars 'n shit to do work on that stuff. It's tight in there too, with a decent sized 'zorst.

    This is indeed one of the harder maintenance jobs by a fair way. My mechanic friend ended up taking 2 extra hours to do this job on my car when we changed the timing belt. Said he used an oxy set-up to heat the harmonic balancer lightly to make it come off the crank more easily

    They reckon that Jap road-regs require manufacturers to have more edge-of-rim/tyre to guard clearance than most other countries- Ever notice how far standard wheels sit in on GT-Rs?

    My 32 GT-R often misses a bit until it gets up to temperature. Seems to go away when the water temperature gets to the middle of the guage. Recently changed plugs (NGK copper, .8mm gap, heat range 6). Any ideas?
