  1. Some of justins recent work on an R33 skyline and a loom for my VY supercar
  2. After months and months of R&D its finally here...... This is my new half the cost wet sump system that opperates using a fuel system type arrangement with a surge tank.
  3. Air deflectors do very little other than direct some cool air onto the inner face of the rotor...... A rotor has two faces and the core is where the majority of the heat is disipated to. The air needs to go into the centre of the rotor hat to be of any benifit what so ever. I've just done a set of alluminium bolt on adaptors that bolt to the slipper mounting holes and have a provision to attach a 2.5 or 3.0inch duct hose to very similar to those I posted from a v8 Supercar. Directs air straight into the rotors core instead of just splashing cold air at one of the rotors faces. Ill post up some photos when they are installed again next week
  4. Merge the two a decent length down the exhaust and make the merge angle blunt as possible. It shouldn't effect the tune a great deal if the merge is okay. I know there is guys who have back to backed with external gates and reckon they gain hp venting to atmosphere. I'd like to see how the merge was done in those examples
  5. I'd like to know what engineer refuses to do a safety brake test..... They aren't required to jump on the brake pedal at 100km/h. It's a controlled emergency brake. There is set out criteria which the car must stop at a certain rate for it mass etc. I've been told its extremely hard for an early model modified car to pass due to there weight and the fact they are not exactly built to go 100km/h and stop quickly. As much as it pains me to say it, I hope they get the likes of luffy to provide the government with actual results before coming to a final rest on the regulation. His experience with road rules and vehicle expectations would actually benifit the government.
  6. The ronkes (benalla car club, winton and Wakefield owners) locked down hankook easily they reckon.
  7. The swift is one of bostons trackschool lease cars. My only racer at the moment is the super car but its a 100k pile of parts that I have no time to assemble.
  8. I've got one of your emo mates from combined touring at the moment. Bunch of cheating bastards they are!
  9. IPRA rx7's with watts links and a pan hard rod cause it says you have to retain the pan hard rod but doesn't say you can't elongate the hole to make it irrelevant then add a watts link.
  10. I heard about a couple of engineers using WSID to perform brake tests last year. Most of them were done in the car park in conjunction with Ian Luff to keep costs semi down.
  11. Yeah I noticed them there when I drove that ute outside.
  12. Serious is the only way I like to build cars.
  13. You left your shocks at the workshop today too. They were in a box next to the springs.
  14. I got a swift, emo's, Hondas, exiges and the usual barrage of skylines. I reckon the simple swift would be the one to go round and round for days on end without a drama though.
  15. In some ways I regret not keeping a simple race car and just being out there driving.
  16. Justin at pro wire performance wiring. Specialises in Motorsport and show quality wiring looms. Doesn't use cheap crimp terminals or narva plugs, detusch connectors only. No plastic split tube wiring cover he uses a proper nylon braided covering. Reasonably priced, quality work. 0402 727 834 I can email you some photos of looms and wiring work his done for me recently if you'd like.
  17. I know a couple of people who are actually "taking a break" so to speak from time attack this year. They are hesitant to spend more money trying to be competitive and are waiting to see how the event travels under new rules. They are glad the new regs came but are wanting to see whats actually enforced before changing their "illegal" cars.
  18. Not the bracket won't suit the R4 Peterson pump, they have a stupid mounting flange that's nothing like anything else. This is a wing mount pump so the. Bracket is different
  19. Don't go soft on me now! You know deep down you want the air jacks.
  20. Selling this off as Its not being used due to a canceled project. Brand new never used Peterson 3 stage dry sump pump. RB series 6061 alluminium mounting bracket to suit the above pump. Bolt the bracket on, bolt the pump on and the hard parts done. Located in Sydney pick up no problem or postage at your expense Asking $1000
  21. I fabricate both of those components in house. The surge tank is a generic fitment for R33/34 & V35 skylines. I don't keep them on the shelf but fabrication time at the moment is fairly reasonable. The power steering resivour is fairly trick and shaped to the wheel arch. That is R33 specific and won't fit anything else so I don't keep them in stock either but again fab time is fairly prompt currently.
  22. Some recent work thats been done R34 fabrication R33 surge tank with inbuilt pumps Yet another RB26 dry sump pan Tial wastegate welded to a 6 boost RB25 manifold and screamer pipe
  23. Fabricated pedal box mount completed. Reinforced with 1 inch 4130 tube back to the lower chassis rail support bars. Decided today that the car is going to need some new jacking points under the car, the chassis rails have been squashed and the sils damaged from jacking the car up all the time at the track. Some specific jacking points coming from the cage will save the cars structure
  24. Open part day tomorrow but located in Campbeltown.
  25. Where in western Sydney are you located?
