  2. i got my 33 at 58,000 it now has 165,000 on it has been running 0.85 bar
  3. it will matter, if they are backwards it wont work by wont work, the solenoid wont open, which means the gate wont open, which means unlimited boost, which means rebuild so drive slowly and check and test it, monitor boost on the hand controller as well when doing it

  5. also remember guys boost is reletive to the compressor so 15psi on a stock turbo and 15psi on a gt35r are not the same thing
  6. unless we can see the compressor flow maps for it saying its safe for xyz psi means nothing its just the turbine speed that is driven by the manifold pressure. the more pressure the later the wastegate is opened, which means faster compressor speed. it doesnt mean its flowing more useful air, just means there is more pressure.
  7. too hard to tell heat can risk ceramic failure it would be odd to hiflow something and not replace the ceramic wheel ask for a refund ?

  11. yep robos is spot on map sensor goes into the 3 pin socket on the FC and the solenoid uses the stock boost solenoid wires/plug
  12. it does not, its just a warning light 02 sensor will affect economy, change it if you havent in the last 50,000ks
  13. if you have the stock pipework and filters or airbox still then look at the nismo's afms they are same size 65mm so you dont have to change anything and give the resolution of the z32s. basically its a z32 chipset inside a GTR 65mm shell. moving to z32s requires 80mm pipework and pod adapters to suit, so it can be over 1000 if buying new afms and pods, kit, adapters and pipework check out the nismo 65mm's option
  14. single q45 is probably more work (fabrication), cheaper and less pipe work and crap twin z32s is probably more bolt on, but more pipework and easier (depending on ecu too)

  19. sounds like a restriction somewhere do a dyno run with the dump pipe dropped off see how much power it makes what are all the mods? got a dyno sheet ?

  21. you should be able to get 240rwkw with 16psi on a highflow. it should be even easier on the neo 25t. you wont need cams for 240rwkw, i wouldnt expect so. normal ball bearing turbochargers (well nissan ones) i think have rebuilds at 100,000 kms so it sounds fairly normal. its usually that most survive past this. i would be interesting to check say an s15 service schedule from an aus nissan dealer.
  22. i think the biggest risk is when the fuel pump cant keep up or progessively failing. if its just instantly custs out it should stall, but if its progressively flowing less and less you will lean out and then go bang.
  23. sounds very much like intercooler pipework leaking somewhere try ecu reset just in case and then look for more leaks do you hear any hissing in the engine bay at idle also check the aac idle valve run your hands around the hoses and sqeeze them one at a time, see if anything changes
