  1. looks good, well done 100km/h = 3571rpm 120km/h = 4285rpm in case you are wondering do you find it a big boggy now that youve taken off the factory VTC solenoid ?
  2. wrong flange probably wrong orientation and it has different flow characteristics than the single hks 2530 so it wont be suitable 1 of the twin hks 2530's != 1 of single hks 2530
  3. it wont be the ecu it doesnt wear out or forget
  4. yeah the 02 sensor is in the exhaust dump pipe 3 wire sensor its used for fuel economy and correcting rich mixture
  5. intercooler pipework leak causing some pressure in the manifold to be lost to the atmosphere, gives it a bit of a laggy feeling. its stalling or struggling as some pressure and air is leaking out, so its over rich. the bad economy could be the same problem or it could be your 02 sensor is shagged. the die and only last about 50,000 k's so chances are you have never changed it, so do that and it should fix your economy.
  6. hybrid is fine chinese copy is fine hks is fine just pick one which ever is cheaper
  7. not safe with stock fuel pump also baby it around and do NOT turn the boost up run the minimum boost you can and dont load the engine up
  8. this was covered some time ago do a search about 6 months look for sydneykid compressor chuffing shuffling and you should be able to find it the fix seems to be varying the intake piping or putting a single bend in the pipework just before the afm
  9. little nicky cover winkler in bee's, you can do it!!!!!
  10. remember crazy, not stupid
  11. you should be able to do 220rwk on stock injectors just get a fuel pressure reg (nismo one) and it will be fine

  13. happy bday, hope u are feeling better
  14. the solenoid has to work pretty hard to maintain the level between 0.9 and 1.53 bar try and upgrade the spring, would give better control
  15. theres quite a few threads on replacement twins for the gtr check out the rb26 turbo upgrade thread stickied at the top you are looking for twin hks-gtss twin garrett 2860s twin hks 2530s
  16. Please be mindful of security if you park a big bunch of imports next to each other in the carpark
  17. 040 is fine for most mild gts's gtr is another goody (but usually 2nd hand, older) its only like really big pumps that have the "too big" issue like maybe an 044 or twin 044's etc
  18. there is a thing as a fuel pump thats too big if it can pump too much and if your sitting in peak hour traffic idling lots the pump will keep going and pushing the fuel around the rail system and back to the tank, which will heat up the fuel, giving you a soggy and sluggish response when you open the throttle
  19. if not installed correctly, it may
  20. its most likely stock maps, if it was remppaed you wouldnt have those wonky curves
  21. its a remapped ecu i think try stock ecu reset see if that helps
  22. they are your stock injectors sent off to a fuel injection company or related company and they basically clean them, hiflow them and test each injector and give you a report. stock rb25det ones are 370cc, they can be hiflowed to probably around 450cc ish i think ?? unsure of exact cc rating once hiflowed. i asusme they get the injector nozzle and open it up a bit more so the injector can force more fuel out of its spray nozzle. much like widing the nozzle on a garden hose, more can come out at the same tap pressure. they dont make any more power at all, it will allow you to inject more fuel into the car once tuned accordingly. its a supporting mod, it doesnt make power by itself
  23. dr drift is well known about rb20s and suitable turbos he has some good hands on experiences with various combinations
  24. hey just found this thread i brought a ps2 extension cord from dick smiths was about 10 then broke off the pin as per the diagram in the FAQ and it worked first shot. its permentantly in my car so i can remove the hand controller easier and whack on datalogit when i need to. as the others mentioned youll notice the centre lug is a bit different, i just cut mine with a knife and worked fine you can use the factory boost control solenoid but its sucky ive heard sluggish boost control at best, so it may work, but probably suck
  25. if you want 250rwkw gcg hiflow dont bother with the gt30xx variants, you dont need the extra compressor flow, youll just get more lag. the smaller the a/r rear the better, given you want 2500rpm wind up forgoet the 0.86 rear options, dont bother.
