  6. i guess thats the part where owner onus applies and you accept all responsibility for what ever happens for having your car on display. sure it sucks they broke it up, but if you break the law, well then yeah you break the law. its like complaining about going to jail for robbing a milk bar. im sure they didnt defect cars that had nothing wrong with them and only cars who violated rules/regulations were defected. i dont see how it being a demo or promo car makes it any different or magically gives it some special rules. "oh but its the demo car" so what rally cars have to conform to all kinds of rules and regulations for driving between stages, they dont get a magical clause that allows them all kinds of illegal stuff.

  8. who really cares about taking sides if you have illegal modifications on your car, then you have illegal modifications. just because he an enthusiast or that he was in a public car show doesnt change that. its no different to having your car in autosalon. the car still has illegal modifications
  9. i think apexi do a twin catback system but usually its split from the cat i dont think there are many systems that are split from each turbo back and remain seperate if at all

  12. stronzo is spot on. old style PFC which is FC 2.x or 3.x will have RB25 as the model number (on the sticker) on the FC shell case. newer FCs will have 5.x and will have ECR33 on the sticker model no# on the case. RB25 needs N001 hand controller (older style, which suits most old nissans) ECR33 needs X001 hand controller which is universal hand controller (newer model hand controlller, commonly known internal and on the back of the HC as FCC3) if you have the wrong model it will boot to the apexi logo and freeze up
  13. its air, it flows through the mesh does not increase or decrease flow it just prevents of big particiles going into the intake, if they happen to get past the airfilter element

  19. sorry its not clear - what are we debating/discussing? the power is possible, its just it would be significantly better with a real tune
  20. i see 11.7afr @ 3200rpm ~ 90kmh richens up to 11.2 and then leans back out again 11.8afr @ 4100rpm ~ 115kmh progressively richens up to 10.8 afr around 4800rpm ~ 135kmh then leans back out to 11.8afr around 5700rpm ~ 160kmh then it progressively leans out to 12.1 afr before redline i suspect you would get a good chunk of midrange power if the afrs were around 12 all the way through instead of richen up to high 10s and the back ground mid 11s. providing the egt's are ok it should be fine on low 12s the whole way through, usually a bit richer during boost build say upto 3400rpm ish~ your boost seems to ramp finally at 3900 so maybe a tiny bit before that a bit richer could help, then just 12s the rest of the way, again check afrs and egts on a dyno

  22. agree the pfc install is non existant the pfc faq shows you want to do anyone who can drive a car can install the fc and get it working
  23. its really not a big deal, 42deg isnt much of a concern im up near 50deg on my tune and it rawks if its just knocking in one or two spots use the pfc faq to help work out where in the maps it is and then goto advan and ask them to kindly sort it out every tune knocks differenelty on the street with the owner dirving it compared to being on a dyno in a simulation. happens and just needs a quick touch up once its out of the simulator and in the real world
  24. the tune looks fine the top higher power run is the "after" dyno plot the lower one is the "before" dyno plot if its knocking a bit more than 60 then you just need to spend a few minutes getting accustomed with knocking and how to correct it. the pfc faq (in my sig) will tell you in great detail how to work with knocking and debug it correctly. read that and it will help you sort out the knocking
