hard to say, is it a hiflow or a just new standard components?
it all depends on the afrs, the tune, the injectors etc
maybe if its a hiflow and you have good tune, fuel pressure etc then 1.3bar
if its crappy maybe 1 bar
haha i dont think it would be too much work for a vct box
acsplit said theres a buddy club unit apparently, but i could never find it
the rest doesnt seem too hard, some wiring inside the FC box
and 10 minutes work with datalogit connected and 12v power from a car battery
nah it wont, theres no VCT relay in the SENSOR SW CHECK screen
so no go there, someone would have to make a vct controller
the rest is just logic in the FC
duplicate the afm signal (can be done inside - ap eng style)
duplicate the 02 signal (can be done inside - ap eng style)
copy the rb25 afm ramps acrross - datalogit
copy the rb26 ign and inj stock maps - datalogit
adjust injector latency/correction to suit rb25 stockers
would give work airtemp as well
twin afm support if needed
correct, thats with the RB26 Djetro PFC
you cannot splice map sensors into the normal RB26 PFC
a guy tried it on the datalogit forums and it sucked big time
how is it mounted (in terms of the front bar)
my front bar (series 2 one) was cut up a fair bit
and was a bit of a hack job install
i think the whistling may be coming from the cutting
and air passing arround the core / air ducting etc..
the easiest way to check drive along at say 50km/h
clutch in, let the idle engine
if you can hear whistling, its probably the core / front areodynamics making it whistle.
my 33 whistles quiet a lot, very audible
somewhat amusing as well
its the kettle car
fry is correct, i would start there and check what he has mentioned.
i have never heard or seen a PFC click 3 or 4 times before boot up and come online normally.
usually if you have clicking relays its toast and never works. am surprised it works
only thing i can think of is view SENSOR SW CHECK with the car on ACC and see what it does ?
have you just matched the wiring 1 for 1 on the loom and AFM?
that is
ground -> ground
signal ground -> signal ground
signal -> signal
power -> power
?
got some data logs i can see?
am curious what the loading looks like from it (as revs increase etc)
send em through if you can;
paulr33 @ hotmail.com
also what model PFC are you using?
rb25/rb26/ap eng? what version?
dont confuse the load point placing with maxing the afm
the load points can be rescaled infintely around the afm load
ie: i can make my pFC hit load point 18 on 1.5v of AFM load if i want
or i can make my PFC hit load point 20 on 4.9v of AFM load if i want
just because it hits the bottom row doesnt mean its hitting 5v
there could be other reasons its maxing out, we just don't know what they are.
yours is a s1 R33 ? same as 2rismo's?
maybe its something with the wiring ?
in the S2 skyline we have to pair up the ground signal
as the loom only has ground, signal and power.
maybe its something to do with that ?
