  1. were out sorry
  2. get a boost controller and get both done at the same time the safc newer models support 2 maps but no need just tune for the safest power and boost you can run and deal with on a daily basis, i see no need for a low and hi mode setup
  3. well all the wrx guys are out then
  4. for some reason i think thats the hks hard piping kit
  5. its almost like the turbo combo is too big
  6. got my car back on friday, very happy, all the bad stuff fixed and the car is spotless now car looks pefect and very shiny, for the agree'd $800 amount i asked for; front left bar corner respary (car park scrape) rear right wheel arch pushed in (car park scrape) door handle touch up (paint coming off) i got for the same price; full front bar respray rear right wheel arch pull out and spray door handle touch up full car detail and polish wheel clean and shine up car vacuum and smelly stuff inside in all a perfect job and they even sprayed the whole front bar at no extra cost. the workshop is pretty big and they are usually working on 15+ cars at any one time. it was done @ flagstaff repairs on king st, towards north melbourne, 2 minute drive from flinders st. dropped car off tuesday morning, picked up friday afternoon so no complaints.
  7. have a read of the powerfc faq in my signatures covers all of the connection options & features
  8. ok stop picking stuff at random on the FC and guessing if its this or that has it been tuned properly?
  9. the problem you describe sounds mechanical related and not tune related
  10. you dont have to use all of the load points, ie: row 19, 20 etc dont have to be used. entering lower % figures will shift the load up the map, ie row 16 would come out as row 13 as an example if using less % correction this will affect both AFR and IGN timing so be careful and make sure thats really what you want to do (it sounds you dont want to do that) has it been tuned? is there somethign wrong ? whats the problem you are trying to solve?
  11. 1. work out what AFM you have 2. work out what problem you have 3. read the PFC Faq, its probably already covered
  12. well if it doesnt have aftermarket injectors and afm then no need to change anything, 100% is fine and prefectly normal. read the PFC FAQ to learn how to preform data init and reset it correctly
  13. yep that all u need
  14. VG30 = Z32 afm VH41 = Q45 afm
  15. ask them, they should be able to tell you
  16. sorry i am a goose the bov is opening as part of the pressure spiking what happens is the compressor is ramping up boost the pressure spikes significantly and the bov is opening to dump the pressure but its probably spiking really high and quickly so it makes the wheel surge too i dont think the bov is at cause here, i think its the compressor wheel surging while ramping boost is common with highflows, well more so than a off the shelf spec turbocharger speak to the people who hiflowed it
  17. the q45 is 90mm so to change from the stock rb25 item you will need to change the pipework and pod adapter as well, as the ones you have will be the 80mm size change wiring change pipework to 90mm or use a silicon joiner / grower (power intake kit does this) get pod filter adapter to suit 90mm instead of 80mm
  18. ideally try and monitor pressure at both ends to try and isolate it compress surge occurs when pressure past the compressor wheel exceeds what the compressor can actually supply, ie say hiting 27psi and the compressor can only yield 15psi etc. it surges violently. perhaps the bov is leaking or not closing properly? checked for obvious leaks ?
  19. is there a reason lots of people factor map sensor as the most important thing for any given ecu?
  20. actually i think the t67 series is from the canter trucks? like the t78 and t88 well they are mitusbishi too im pretty sure
  21. no i couldnt sorry, the best somoene could do is an educated guess without compressor maps you are somewhat in limbo. trust probably dont release the compressor maps, like hks, apexi and others. althought it is a mitsubishi turbocharger, you may get some luck there. being a t67 variant its effeiency zone is probably quite high, past 1.3bar i would expect, but remember a t67 @ 1bar is flowing a massive amount of air vs a gt28 at 1bar so keep that in mind. youll need suitable fuel and drivetrain upgrades to support whatever power it dishes out.
  22. This has been secured and sorted out. Congratulations to Rekin for securing the role of designing our SAU site and online portal. I have done the code for the online portal and signup pages already and they are working very well. We just need to quick bug fix and check on them and they are ready to go. This will speed up future member signups and give access to existing members to edit their membership details and info. Congratulations patrick and well done, appreicate the efforts. Website will be coming very soon
  23. u might be able to have some fun with the vspec diff you can intercept the power for the vspec pump and play
