  2. added correct pfc boost kit port mappings (on the solenid) added photos inside GTR-RB26 PFC added photos inside APENG-RB20 PFC added piggbacking the powerfc added power fc pro launch control
  3. from all the stuff ive seen the hand controller is usually more accurate than the dial
  4. to edit the vct kick off you need; fc pro software power excel software fc datalogit fc tune and a suitable cable
  5. i would source a second hand ER34 PFC, surely you can find one somewhere amongst all the skyline owners and yahoo auctions. Speak with Zac @ slidewise imports in the trader section he might be able to find one for you. my second preference would be a wolf 3d, but change to AFM, dont go the map sensor. this would depend on cost as well

  7. me and someone else debated the whole ceramic dust kill rb26 myth i think it might have been me and r31nismod, or maybe someone else?? i dont think its ceramic dust that does the damage, i think due to either manifold design or how the twins are split, ie one turbo is cylinders 1,3,6 and the other is say 2,4,5 when one of the wheels lets go it basically causes excessive backpressure or some form of exhaust backlog and causes excessive detonation i just dont see the culprit being ceramic dust

  9. check out sensor SW check, what does BOST look like? what does MONITOR, 1 CHANNEL, BOOST look like?

  16. hmm i wonder if there is some mathematical way if we can work out if this is true or not, using CFM calculations and head airflow or something like that.
  17. thats a lot of stuff changed at any one time to directly pin point the culprit. just how does the greddy font facing plenum help? is it larger diameter? bigger runners or channels? larger internal volume? anyone measured volume of each? it doesnt seem to me obvious how the plenum unlocks extra power or un-chockes the top end. we saw r31nismoid's 25t make over 350rwkw with a 600hp gt30. now it has different slow to a 3 litre but it could certainly make the power.

  22. the bov was fitted on factory cars for a reason take it off or block it if you wish, but its doing some damage how much i cant say, but its doing some the service life was changed after bovs were factory fitted so there is obviously some justification behind it
  23. ceramic exhaust or compressor wheel? bovs i believe came factory on turbo nissans late 80s so like 89 i think the mainstream run for the bovs as nissan (probably) found they increased turbo reliability and emissions
  24. try slidewize under the business trader section he should be able to get you any rims you want from jap land
