  5. a few have said many times it will work as far a drive and run the car, im just surprised it isnt detonating on gear change or that you arent seeing other strange issues how is the timing on the tune? how does the dyno chart look like? how is your average power?
  6. im surprised cos when you nail it the engine is on full load and throttle as you gearchange the throttle doesnt close so afm voltage is constant, which would mean it wont move around on the load map, well it would a bit, bit not to row 0 where you could back out timing im just surprised it doesnt, can u get me a map tracer of a run from say a low speed to a high speed, say 20km/h to 80km/h ?
  7. was it detonating on gear change ?

  10. a tune will make a world of difference given you have an aftermarket turbo a remap/tune is a good idea should give you more average power everywhere. also make sure it has the basics before you go any further good tyres good fuel pump (not stock) good cold air intake fuel reg might be a good idea good heavy duty clutch suitable fmic (not stocker)
  11. its lots easier with a harness, check out ebay they might be really cheap, like $10 and you should use the handbrake control, its a good feature forget the 02 sensor one, its pointless
  12. have a look on ebay have a look in our trader section (zac - slidewise imports)
  13. they dont directly avoid r&r, ie: the safc doesnt have a button to disable r&r it just happens that when it voltage clamps the afm values, you end up in turn avoiding the r&r protection. safcII is now discontinued as well, so you need to go safc Neo
  14. when i fried my water temp sensor the car wouldnt start but when i unplugged the sensor is started fine so who knows. i was told by a few people there is no chance an rb will start with it disconnected, but it did, so not sure what is right or wrong. but i know the corrections wont apply if its disconnected
  15. the main water connector hose has two sensors one is for the guage in analog style the other is for the ecu if you disconnect the ecu one the car may not start and water temp corrections will not be applied correctly, ie: this is a bad idea

  20. no you need to fix the cause of the leak
  21. r&r doesnt activate at 5.0v its a linear ramp on airflow load and rpm the afm doesnt go beyond 5.0v. around 250rwkw you should have a z32
  22. have some dudes
