  1. do a search, its all been covered many many times you will fry the stock clutch and youll need a beavy duty one stock ecu has excess airflow protection known as R&R
  2. can you post the email u got from jps?
  3. ive seen and heard of alexcim's cruises they are nothing short of mccr hypo cruises imho
  4. see if these guys have stock (ring them) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/APEXI-Power-FC-with...1QQcmdZViewItem see if slidewise can get them for you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...80594&st=40 speak to jap parts specialist http://www.jappartsspecialist.com/ modyourcar.com.au (althogh epensive) http://www.modyourcar.com.au/product_info....products_id=485 yahoo auctions http://search1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/sea...=0jp&acc=jp slidewise imports shoudl be able to bid on these for you there should be quiet a large array of them in circulation 2nd hand u just gotta find them
  5. agree afr guage on stock 02 sensor is pointless and mislead, dont bother sell the guage and move on with your life
  6. you'd be pretty hard done by to make a tune to do that
  7. well thats what i thought too, but i dont get it ? the skyline model would have been popular as. i think since they made the fc and commander combo they would have dozens more, i can think of over 10 gtsts in sau vic that brought pfc since they made that model change. can someone with an rb26 PFC open it up and take a photo of the processor? and anyone who has ordered a really recent rb26 pfc open it up and do the same? im interested in what processor it has the p-nbc is almost like the emanage, piggyback but lets you do most of the crap, a bridge gap solution for dudes who had safc but want a bit more, but didnt want to buy the pfc. its currently only supported on wrx auto
  8. ill be there with my car
  9. happy birthday champ, hope u have a good one
  10. once you work it out, please let me know and i will add it to my site (in my sig)
  11. or fit a real working blow off valve, as nissan had intended it. a plumbback will work best for your car, turbocharger and ecu/tune. i suspect this will be much cheaper and a far better solution than tuning around it.
  12. there are still dozens of pfc's for sale second hand you just can't buy any new, well some suppliers may have say 1 or 2 in stock but no new units are being made, the nec processor used is end of life from NEC so they had no choice, it is unclear if apexi will somehow use another processor type, they did for the fd3 rx7 which has the 78f4 cpu instead of the older (out of date) 78p3 cpu. so unsure at this stage. its not like all powerfcs just magically blew up yesterday, its just its not for sale brand new for the three gtst models
  13. you only need the z32 if upgrading the turbo no need for manifold change buy a smaller core'd intercoller, that one is too big make sure u get some suspension work done, with that power and stocky setup its gonna fry tires a lot (meaning $$$) buy a cheap boost controller (no need for $700 one) heavy duty clutch is a must, stocker will die near 180rwkw
  14. good find michael

good work guys, well done.. i cant work out who won rwd ?
  16. a plain r33 gtst PFC works on a rb25det 98 style CAS dezz has a 1998 r33 gtst with 98 style cas and PFC with no problems
  17. confirmed from a few suppliers apexi no longer making r33 and 34 pfcs and the other models have gone as well. the new rx7 models use the new nec processor but not sure if the r33 and r34 can use this cpu or not
  18. clean the oil away and then drive around and check it in a few days. when you check it again, see how much there is. if there is a considerable amount it could indicate turbo oil seal is shagged. wipe away and see how long before it comes back

    Deca Review

did anyone in the first session notice me laying down at the end of the skid pan? in the first morning session
  20. ive updated the faq tonight, its more of an end of model notice for some models, its not a complete end of sale notice as i originally thought in summary, r32 gtst discontinued (nec dont make processor anymore) r33 gtst discontinued (nec dont make processor anymore) r34 gtt discontinued (nec dont make processor anymore) supra discontinued (fcon dominated) ap engineering all discontinued (ap engineering no longer exists) fc pro versions discontinued (i think ap eng had something to do with these) some of the other non popular versions are gone too, starlet, chaser, one of the wrx models, integra the faq has the complete list
  21. changed the end of sale notice to discontinued models notice updated some of the djetro information
  22. ok but if i have car tyre with air at 30psi and a truck tyre at 30psi both have same air temp, clearly they both have different are volumes i cant see anywhere in the datalogit of powerfc to support that it uses the air temp for "load" calculate, the load axis guesstimation is based on map sensor signal and thats about it. it doesnt use the air temp for placement, but more for correction when its really hot (back off timing). i would the map sensor to be temperature aware, but unsure if it would use this value in showing "air pressure" to the ecu
  23. just an update, moving to a higher rated map sensor is easy the rxr7 guys do it quiet often when they crank the boost up you need datalogit to edit the map scale and offset two text boxes and its done
  24. you will need a hand controller (or datalogit) to find out the error you need to look at the SENSOR SW / CHECK screen to find out what sensor isn't working. the light will stay on when sensors are fault or out of range
  25. As a lead up to an event im planning soon for SAU VIC, I had this discussion with my lovely girlfriend and we disagreed on what one should have with fish n chips. So I am curious what does everyone have on their fish and chips (and dimmies). Please vote for each of the 3 main categories being Chips, Potato Cakes and Dimmies. Please only indicate which ones you like.
