  4. apexi power intake is another
  5. rumour has it NEC has stopped making the ecu that was used in the PFC which was the same reason the Pro versions were discontinued

  8. only thing remotely new from apexi's site is the PNBC which is a piggyback system, its a bridge between SAFC and PFC http://www.apexera.co.jp/carlife/pro_apexi...ics/P-NBC1.html its a bit wierd, its like the emanage
  9. yeah joel could be onto something the manual mentions a bit about "issues" control over 1.3kgcm2 but its not clear. does the map sensor let you see to 1.6bar ?
  10. can someone please let me know the correct wiring ?
  11. This was originally listed as an "End of Sale" notice but it appears Apexi are dropping some of the least popular models. There also appears to been some supply issues with some of the processor used in some of the models (NEC chip for the Skyline units) After about 1 to 2 years of rumors that the PowerFC would be discontinued this time more rumours have surfaced. The are more rumours found here on the rx7club. http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=596718 Some more discussion on the topic here on the gtrcanada club. http://forums.gtrcanada.com/viewtopic.php?t=11147 PowerFC AP Engineering versions - All models discontinued PowerFC Pro versions - All models discontinued # AE86 discontinued model # BG5 discontinued model # ECR33 discontinued model # EG6 discontinued model # EG9 discontinued model # EK9 discontinued model # EP82 discontinued model # EP91 discontinued model # ER34 discontinued model # FC3S discontinued model # GC8 discontinued model # HCR32 discontinued model # JZA70 discontinued model # JZA80 discontinued model # JZX90 discontinued model # JZZ30 discontinued model # RNN14 discontinued model # ST205 discontinued model # SW20 discontinued model Some models have been discontinued as they weren't popular, some removed as the FCON dominated that model (toyota supra) and some were removed as they have run out of NEC processors (Skyline R33/R34). We are unsure at this stage if any more models will be cancelled or removed, or if its just a reshuffle of the crap models, and clear out some old unpopular models. AP Engineering no longer exists as a company, so the AP Eng versions have gone. There are of course many many units in the public market so there should be plently for sale second hand it just means these models aren't sold as new anymore. We have no news of a replacement unit (if in fact one is coming??), specs, feautres, name etc so if you have any information on unit, or details please post them up
  12. These taken just 10 minutes ago from Tullamarine
  13. both will be a direct fit, plently of guides in the tutorial section on how to remove and replace it
  14. are you referring to 255 on the boost screen? its not used but apparently its part of the logic control. the manual doesnt say shit about it, datalogit cant touch it and the hand controller cant touch it
  15. given that he has said nothing as to what the car is used for then the stock guages are fine
  16. if you are tuning exhaust temp wideband af ratio if you arent stock boost is fine stock oil is fine maybe oil temperature
  17. the stock cluster already has the most important ones
  18. also to note the FC has a boost cut protect mode which may be activating, if the boost spikes 0.25kgcm2 over the value you dial in under SETTING, BOOST it will perform boost cut and back itself off. you may be hitting this, i would expect the engine check light to come on however
  19. shouldnt matter, my insurance doesnt mention squat about where you can and can't drive your car. all insurance should be like this, australia wide.
  20. we are leaving in afternoon, i would say 4ish is ok, 5 will be starting into peak hour = gay
  21. keep the wa plates & rego no hope of vic rego with all the crap on it and if you get major defect in vic youll be sent to epa which will check everything, no hope of passing with turbo, ecu, gate, catch oil etc
  22. yeah i had only learnt how to take action shots when we got to uas as i called up tharaka and asked him how to do action shots. i only realised the pics were in dark dark mode half way through the day at wakefield
