So it's the new year and I walk outside to have a look around and there's this thing walking around the ground so I take a snaphot: any idea what it is? I live NOR and I also saw a smaller version walking around as well which looked similar without wings. It's got a massive head and forelegs and when provoked it didn't try to fly but I assume those are wings for doing just that or long hops...but it just kept walking along and didn't try to hop or fly. After all that it's probably something common like a variety of earwig or something

To bring this thread up again...my battery is dead after lack of use, what CCA and dimensions of battery will fit? Now there's some after x'mas specials I may as well change mine.

and while I'm at it, wgmg is news coverage of that cop who got paralysed after he got pushed to the ground (flying headbutt to the media) receiving medals, rehab, etc. Sure what happened is tragic but the sanctimonious bs the media reports is just plain wrong and the cop getting a medal for doing the wrong thing just proves it. I dunno about you but I'm aware of the facts of the case (the 'real' facts) including police altering statements (after CCTV footage was found showing what bs as usual they were talking about) and generally causing an escalation of the altercation including the use of a taser when it was unnecessary and unauthorised. It led to the acquittal of the accused much to the surprise of the media (no real surprises for people who followed the case). The fact is barristers are not allowed to discuss the matter to the media which leaves the Commissioner and DPP abusing their powers by bad mouthing juries and the justice system when I believe it worked in this instance. Get off your high horse and train your personnel properly instead.

Fines don't double though...that should also double IMHO. Although, from experience the worse drivers don't pay their fines anyway. I know some people with over $25,000 in unpaid fines and they're still driving, go go gadget Centrepay!

sounds like your car had mods which would attract a yellow...if the cops were ever questioned they would say that they had every right to inspect your vehicle for possible unroadworthy mods based on exhaust/road height FMIC as being a/m additions. their suspicion having been vindicated by the mods they found which may not have been permitted. Basically I've never seen anyone get away with 'you don't have reasonable suspicion/a warrant' to throw any evidence out, not in WA anyway.

I think it's '3' cars, as in front body is 2006 Liberty, rear is 2000 liberty and engine is from a WRX. hope it's all engineered well... edit: probably won't go well over the pits here in WA

If you are going the personal route don't get a car that can be sourced quite readily here by importers. It is obviously better to get a car which cannot be imported here but for the fact it is a personal import together with it's relative rarity/value here vs cheap/commonality over there. vauxhall vxr8 bathurst perhaps? some bogan is keen to want one here or something more common like a merc C or E class or 5 series BMW or GTI?

Would have also looked at wagons but wife hates wagons and likes her hondas (thanks to the old civic). Besides, I got my GTR so I don't argue if she wants the honda I would also consider the Legnum, Liberty/Forester wagon (by STI is good...seen them cheap, but of course your budget is not that high). Assuming your budget is $15k I think you might want to look local, and the kid will wreck your interior, trust me...Falcon wagon is good, otherwise you could go for Mazda 6 wagon or Magna wagons if you want it cheap (they're actually good cars although bland as bat shit). If you can live with a sedan instead (as I have) then that would increase your options. Otherwise maybe a soccermum SUV but then of course forget about power

AFAIK it's only light transmission (ah see above post ) so in theory colour wouldn't matter. Of course, there's also the issue re 'mirror' tint or reflective films and light tranmission. The police can use a device which measures light transmissions through the windows...not sure if most cops use it or just yellow you to make you go to the trouble.

If it is the V8 R8 then nah that's just a RS4 with less doors All things including price being equal I would get the gallardo spyder...besides bar the ferraris the others are 4wd so if you floor it and you're not prepared there's a higher chance you'll be able to catch and control it. If you want some dorifto then try the F430.
