  1. Maybe not the pistons, rip the head off and have a look
  2. Do you know why the nsd isnt compatible, i cant see any reason. Do you know why the other one died?
  3. In case anyone was wondering, they dont fit a stagea
  4. If the piston is a tdc, the valve can only move dowm about 6 or 7 mm, and the crank shouldn't need to be held, only if its slightly off centre.
  5. The eagle stuff can be found cheaper than that(look on ebay), but spool is probably an equivalent quality
  6. Gee i wish id known that before i bought a CF bonnet, LOL
  7. Retarded timing FTW
  8. The stock inlet is a bastard to modify inn the same style as these ones, and it would cost a lot more then $250
  9. Im sorry, every dyno shop says their dyno reads lower, that way if you get more power somewhere else you cant blame them. Plotting is no different in shootout or non shootout mode. If their dyno reads low, dont you think they would be the first to get it calibrated? To be perfectly honest, i dont see how cars can be tuned to give a wavy power graph, on a power run it only goes through about 15 load cells, and as long as the numbers dont jump all over the place ive always found the curve to be smooth as long as there is no missfire. Can you get a graph of AFR's?
  10. Im in for a set, just let me know when your ready to go ahead
  11. There is two or three PFC's in the for sale section for rb25's
  12. I made my own adapter plate, day and a half, lots of noise and $70 worth of steel, just takes a bit of patience.
  13. $240 from just jap, should upgrade the cat at the same time, about $150 and up
  14. Check trouble codes, could also be Igniter module. If motor isn't turning over, then its none of these problems.
  15. Just go to a wrecker and get a pair of a late model camry or some thing like that, they are fairly universal, you will pretty much have to drill a hole somewhere to do it though, and should only cost $10. Just make sure you get on off a bonnet not a hatch, as they are heaps heavier, and you could bend your bonnet trying to close it.
  16. Yeah, but he's running a djetro, so a leak in the piping will not effect the running like with an AFM
  17. There is a diagnostic function, try PM ing TO4GTR, he knows how to do it, or do a search
  18. BOV and filter are illegal, exhaust will have to be shut up to make it comply, good luck PS they really are in some ways trying to help, as the BOV will decrease your fuel ecomomy and make the emissions heaps worse.
  19. Good to see another person giving it a go, ill be getting one in a few weeks to fit to an NEO rb25/30, will you be cleaning up the ports, match porting etc?
  20. I think we have the wires crossed, theres no such thing as a s/s intake manifold, were talking about ex manifolds
  21. I bought it off one of the traders on the forum, and i must say the deal ended up far from sweet, they gave me the wrong cooler(3in pipes instread of 2.5, the dump pipe we got at the same time didn't fit, and the service was plain rude, although i think that was just the personn who seved me. The cars not making a heap of power as it has standard turbo and jaycar DFI with highflow cat and 3in exhaust(dump pipe didnt fit) Lag feels exactly the same as standard, would have prefered 2.5in outlets, as it would have made fitment cheaper and easier, i did the piping myself, hope that helps. PS i have dealt with the ebay trader, and have found him to be great, we needed a cooler urgently, and he met us at a woolworths at 10.00 at night with a shopping trolley full of intercoolers, funny stuff
  22. What motor do you have? Ive got one on my rb26, and make about 360rwkw, you can fit a T66 on one.
  23. You dont happen to have squirtes fitted to your block do you? I want to but the machine shop wont do it as they say its too thin.
