be careful though... we snapped a bolt goping into the turbo and had to drill it out - BIG pain in the ass!

is it possible to make some sort of controller that enables you to change up/down gears in an auto skyline by the press of a button? ...these buttons could be mounted on the steering wheel for easy access i'm looking at the electronic experts here... i thought myself that if one could hack into the auto ECU inputs/outputs and wire in a switch of some sort that when pressed engages the gear change mechanism then this would be fantastic! and antoher switch that turns off this altogether so that you can "manual-ise" your auto when required then re-auto it when you're lazy i peak hour traffic... any ideas would be awesome... cheers, Waz.

i would htink at the end of the day you are removing the stock intercooler and replacing with one that flows better and has a smaller pressure drop. the amount of 'lag' that people generally refer to that comes with an aftermarket intercooler and piping is something so small that i would render it irrelevant. get the cooler mate...

in one word: NO i would think a better (and also free) option would be to put a block of ice in your airbox and a pipe to drain the melted ice into your windscreen wiper resiorvoir... can't hurt for a night at the drags or at the traffic light grand prix!

well i can reccommentd: Blinky's Brakes and Exhaust in Dandenong (sth gippsland highway)... they did my and coco69's intercooler piping and gave me a price $300 cheaper than ice performance! trust me they are cheap and did a fantastic job. Ask for stuart and tell him Warren sent you (the guy with the blue r32 that got his intercooelr piping done) good luck! PS my dad and i fitted my front/dump by driving onto car ramps and doing it fron there. hard work but free! another option if you are good with a spanner or two...

rubber balls - now that would be practical... oops you are talking about something else no drinking?? if this is just a person in a shop who said this then i would have to disagree... We use 70% alcohol in the laboratory i work in to clean the benches due to its ability to kill viruses and bacteria - just the thing that wants to grow in your fresh wound. that's my opinion as a qualified biomedical scientist - DRINK UP!!

it is lunch and finishes when you want to leave! its a "sitting" so it starts at 12pm and finishes at 2:30 pm and you can leave whenever you are full or sick of me...

who wants all you can eat?? The north-west meetup is this saturday the 15th of May at the Watergardens hotel. (NB: this is a SAU-only event organised by R31nismoid and myself, NOT something organised by someone else or including people from other clubs) I have booked for 14 people (can't be changed) but only 6 people have expressed interest. For those of us mathematically challenged that mens there are still 8 places left on the table. Those already coming include R31Nismoid, DJ_L3thal, Al, and others... I thought i would throw this thread up for anyone unaware of the meet that wishes to join us (don't have to be from the north-west). Its first in - first served as far as getting a seat so please PM or post if you want to come. ONLY POST IF YOU ARE DEFINATELY GOING TO MAKE IT please... keen to hear the results of both you guys with exactly what had to be changed i am almost certain to go down this path...

a mate of mine had this done and chipped his teeth twice acidentally biting it whilst eating... not to mention the fact that he couldn't speak for about 2 weeks after getting it done. i think it attracts the wrong sort of girl in my opinion (i'm assuming that's why you want to get it done)

do it mate don't worry.. i think i'm about to get some rb26 cams and do the same, and i will only be running FMIC, 3" exhaust and hi-flow filter... ! if you decide against this however i have dibbs on your cams! Waz.
