  2. hmmmm this i might be in for... do i have to get money to you before the order or can i pay you and recieve goods on the 24th?
  3. c'mon guys who else wants in?? this is open to all not just north-west people. if you want to travel over here then the more the merrier...
  4. for running against bikes: maybe a 125cc bike might run even with you. don't underestimate the speed of a petrol-powered vehicle that weighs 150kg!
  5. true that... i plan on buying mine off the showroom floor! (if its out by then!) will there be anyone actually doing the speed limit on this cruise? i might have to hang around the back with the NA boys if you all go fanging off...
  6. i think i have to work at 4:30pm. we going to be back by then or do i have to leave early? oh and ash, i think you should just borrow someone else's car for the day. surely someone out there has 2 x skylines??
  7. unless unforseen circumstances interveine, i am in... Q: what's a good way to convince the missus to come onto a cruise?
  8. you guys should hit the Belgian Beer Garden out in prahran i work at the alfred hospital and that's just around the corner and now that i'm off my P's we should have drinks there one week if you are interested (i havn't met any of you really)
  9. settlement rd thomastown...
  10. glad to help. JSV seem at have a BIG parts store and aren't too badly priced
  11. awesome... 1 out of 1 i like the idea of lunch better also... If you want to help then i would be more than grateful ash. i think if we can just get some intrest going first then from there we can make a 'how to get there' sheet and make a booking a the hotel for the food. and luckily the carpark is big enough to hold lots of cars for us... Waz.
  12. make sure you take lots of pictures and write a 'how to' when its done. i'm sure that if you detail it very well and list all parts needed then others may follow this lead in the future... Waz.
  13. hmmmm havn't had to get these yet although, a mate of mine has a z32 and recently got brake pads from www.ttzed.com and their brake pads are identical...
  14. i buy the following parts from supercheap auto: - oil ($30) - oil filter ($5) - air filter (k&n sell for $120 there) - fuel filter ($30) - spark plugs ($3 each) as for timing belt - i bought mine for $80 from my local nissan dealer as for water pump - ditto above servicing the transmission - i used a kit bought for $30 from repco the times of 'can't find parts for imports' really have been passed now... good luck with the purchase! Waz.
  15. hahaha that's made my day! tossssssssssssssers.......
  16. the last time this was tried, there wasn't enough notice and not a big turn-out from what i heard. will be good to put some faces to the cars i see around this area and the names i see on the forums... so here it goes again: i though the north-west guys in here could have a meetup at the Watergardens Hotel for some beers or food. they do lunch/dinner buffet's or they have a bar around the back with plenty of beer on tap. we could have it on a friday night for beers/dinner or saturday day for lunch (beers if you're keen!). would think avoiding saturday night would be good to avoid dikheads... Friday May 7th / Saturday May 8th PLENTY OF NOTICE GIVEN! anyone like the idea? who's in... cheers, Warren.
  17. check out EKW: call tony (guy at the nissan section) 9274 4411 - in east keilor or try Japanese Special Vehicles (that's where i got my sideskirts) 9466 4499 - in thomastown good luck...
  18. O2 sensor: edit in 2006: no proof that this is the right number
  19. haha wasn't sure if i should tow using the 'line... there's no towbar but the hooks that stick out the rear bumper look like they could be used i didn't take the risk as i didn't want to bend the chassis or anything...
  20. funny story... my brother's TT zed was just fixed of its leaking coolant issue (bloody hard to find leaks in that engine bay!) and i get a call saying that his car has cut out on the freeway! so he gets it started again after letting it sit fo a while and eventually it dies at teh end of my sreet. now this sounds good luck that it was close to home, but my street is on an incline. So i drive down to meet him (and remind him that this doesn't happen to skylines) and end up pushing this boat up a hill about 500m back to my house! took ages an my legs were about to drop off! now i like zed's but this is just funny stuff. nice looks. nice power. nice reliability too! anyone else had a bad breakdown before resultign is having to tow / push a car out of a situation? Waz.

you can order practise tests when you register for the test (www.acer.edu.au) but otherwise no. there is a brochure with the format ofthe test etc. but its designed to test your way of thinkign and interpreting data rather than general knowledge. thus its hard to study for.
