  1. Can you post up a pic of the wastegate. The bottom one requires manifold pressure or off the front of the turbo or intercooler pipe, this will make it run whatever boost the wastegate spring is. The top one requires the same pressure source but this one is the one you use your boost controller on to up the boost.
  2. t1.bmpt2.bmpt4.bmp There ya go mate, if they all dont show up soon ill have another go at it.
  3. 5018 and 0018 is the same thing, ive asked adrian about it before
  4. If you can get the head cheap why not get the rb30 bottom end as well, im surprised cubes didnt suggest this, lol
  5. Ive had the same thing but on a gtst and ive put it down to the state of tune, everything as mentioned above is new. What ecu has your car got?
  6. Could be a gt3082, similar to the 3040. disco has it listed here and he would be the best guy to ask about it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=104500&hl=
  7. ROFL not too much polish as it could take out the fresh hone marks and stop the rings from sealing.
  8. Congrats on the result. Should give it a power run in front of dave and show him rb20s can make more than 200kw
  9. Did you bleed the cooling system properly when changing the radiator and the hoses
  10. wolf 3d, microtech, haltech, thats the ones i know of.
  11. sorry should of written max power, its power range is from 3500-7000
  12. Mine makes its power at 6500 and starts to fall off at 7000. The rev limit is set to 7500 but i only rev it to 7.
  13. Funny you mention that as i spoke to Adrian at Toda Racing today and he said the same thing, as well as being hard to tune with. He recomended a sard regulator.
  14. To be honest i wouldnt have a clue as i knocked it out when i put the new setup on, makes it sound tuff but
  15. ROFL looks like Mr Squiggle was trying to draw bart simpsons head.
  16. Those reducer bends are cheap as chips, wish i seen them a few weeks ago.
  17. Ha ha ha you make me laugh. Although a bitch slap as you put it might be in order, ill just leave it at that and let someone else tune it.
  18. Ok the exhaust was done at a local shop, timing is ok, the pump was just conected to the wiring but we checked pressure on the dyno and all was good, injectors were cleaned before they went in. So i guess ill give dyno dave a call when i save some money up and see what he can do with the tune standard cams and gears
  19. walbro pump, malpassi 2:1 reg, gtr injectors 600-300-76 hybrid cooler, k&n pod high mount manifold, 35mm wastegate, gt3071r turbo 3" turbo back exhaust, no cat, cannon on rear no silencer, 2" wastegate pipe plumbed in just before cat wolf 3d with ebc splitfire coils 7 heatrange plugs gapped to .6 when tuned boost was set at 22psi, today it was showing 25psi by the dyno, i havent looked at the gauge when driving for abvious reasons
  20. Ok i didnt sleep well last night thinking about the car, how could i be maxing out gtr injectors at 203kw when using a good pump 2;1 reg with heaps of pressure unless the afr are all over the place. Just went for a power run on a local dyno that is said to be quite accurate and here are the results. please comment on afr, would you leave the tune alone and be happy or have it looked at by someone else. The car drives great, little hard to start when hot and uses heaps of fuel. Thanks guys.
  21. Hi, its just a cheap ebay manifold and a 35mm xspower wastegate, it holds boost well but. I didnt even think about the gt35r when picking the turbo, someone suggested a 30/40 but after 3 months of research and talking to people, and looking through catalogs i just went with the 3071.
  22. I actually just put both graphs side by side, at a quick glance they look the same, but you can see the new one has more torque and power everywhere. Ive got a small clutch fluid leak to fix and then its off to the track.
