  1. to clarify: bose or non bose setups INTEGRATED 6CD unit only. it DOES NOT work with the DIN single cd as per the base spec stagea.
  2. well its GAME ON as of 330 pm today. form is submitted on this site - now I wait.
  3. gotta love those - welcome to my world.
  4. this thing is huge! looked at it today and there is a retail area off to the right side of the door and plenty of room to hold 2-3 cars easily in there. I can see this working. I'm doing numbers on it now and so far looks good.
  5. alberts (morely ,cannington) westside - osb pk or cannington or morely. autotainment burswood. pick one
  6. pull door trim, pull door catch, two 10mm bolts hold the handle on. thats it.
  7. sedan or coupe?
  8. map is $1500 and then you have hte langauge swap in top. why so expensive? THERE ARE NO MAPS for this system. the above price is a refit. short version: if you are buying it for gadgets buy somehting else. its a great car and the last thing will want it for is gadgets.
  9. I realise its across town.. go see the one in philip (see my site-sig below) and mention me when you see them.
  10. which ACT store. I know of 4. sned me a PM/I deal with all 4 of these daily
  11. that is eaxctly what I mean. 20% at night is nigh on impossible to see through. even 35% on my van makes it hard at times. think about it for a second.
  12. I would SERIOUSLY rethink your approach here. the car may look like crap but I dare say its a tad more legal than it would be if yo did this. that said yellow pages is your friend.
  13. www.advancedice.com.au - he's local.
  14. I'll follow up the shop that did it. they may still have them IF they are not there.
  15. probably more than you wish to pay fire me a PM
  16. nope. all of it is jap market only. its a common question I get asked and for a while I was mucking with them. got too time intnsive so I started removing them.
  17. gerry, when you are up this way next I'll rip the front off. I dare say the ballasts are still there.
  18. OBD2 - J1850. mine reads the car (at $4400 it better!) and that is a launch diagun.
  19. craig, no biggie. been a bit busy myself. regarding the audio system in there - find a trash can - pull it up to the car and dump all of that in it. the alpine unit is region locked and old. the panasonic navi is useless. screen could be reused but its really not worth dicking with. alarm - depends on what it is. if youcan see a rats nest when you yank the lower dash I'd suggest replacing it before it strands you.. shame you are not brissy based I regularly work on these things..
  20. I can get parts as well. radio related stuff I've had for ages. I have a FULL 2 DIN kit in stock here if its needed.
  21. I could talk till I'm blue in the face.... I SELL THIS SH!T.... bose is not an issue I have a plug in patch for it, makes the entire system work as it should without volume issues. want one ask. manual car is the same as auto. knob unscrews.
  22. I would wait and learn to drive something that you can legally drive and NOT kill yourself in. these things ARE NOT slow by any means. there are a few 17y/o kids here in Qld that have these and the insurance premiums are scary as hell. also do you have the money to fix it WHEN it breaks. do a bit of a search on here for common things that break and you will see none of it is cheap. sorry to burst your bubble but you may want to look at that side of it first.
  23. thats what I'm hoping for. yet to move house.
  24. jon, ta. Chris, they want 18,700 for it and thats probably where it will stay( IE no neg.). I have yet to look inside but it does see some street traffic and its plain enough for me.size is 220m2 if I wanted the lot (and $33k!) or 120m2 if I take the front. routing traffic from the south will be fun but doable. northside stuff and referrals I do not see being an issue. as fro changes - yep! not a lot of riff raff there now. figured this would be easier than trying to route work to further north and losing it. we'll see as its all open for discussion currently. Sara, been doing this for 21 yrs the last 11 have been here in brisbane. most of these guys know me /my work quite well. do a bit of a search on this site/boostcruising/nissan silvia and quite a few others for the business name. (or toss it into google for australia only.) I also sponsor the Qld skyline club. google by itself should yield a few things.
  25. he's in Tanundah about 60-70km north of you
