  1. www.audioexpress.com.au questions - ask
  2. you are in brissy correct? I know what is causiing it I just need to verify it.
  3. no. that is driven off the door locks. the OE remote key has nothing to do with it. piss if off before it strands you.
  4. I have a shot of one on 22s that may scare you. I'll have a dig later on and post it up.
  5. finally a result - great news! I think the people involved are getting out anyway - IF its who I think.
  6. see bold point. yes it can certainly be done. no need to move the OE unit either. when you come up drop the car off and I'll do it for you. I retain the entire system and integrate a new nav into it. audio routing and control is retained. the only thing I will not retain is the controls. the new system is remote based. andy is correct in the legals of the maps. not likely. as for a the AUX channel - that stays intact so you can route WHATEVER you want through it.
  7. be honest here- fort the possible volume that these things *may* flow in do you think everyone is going to be top spec. I know where one of the cars is here in brissy that you are talking about so they *may* do them.
  8. any idea when yours is going to be free (want to play.)
  9. david noble is doing them as well. spoke to him a few days back regarding his. going to have a fiddle with it once it lands.
  10. I know of a few of htese here in brissy now. all are at compliance shops. nigel, I know yours is kicking around here as well.
  11. +1 on the neons as for pricing - thats cheap. I know a 3 shops here in brissy that are above that. now if you are complaining on that price for the amount of work they have to do, the 2-3 people that they have to pay for the two days the car will tie up the hoist whilst they are returning the car to stock then in opinion I would have done a LOT more research into it.
  12. broker and compliance shop names pls via PM. I'd be interested to see if its a shop that I do work for. actually fire across your chassis # as well. (CPV35 /PV35/HV35/V35 - 000000 ) if its on my list of cars to do I'll know who it is. kristian, if you already know this I would like to as well pls.
  13. SEE HERE: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/V3...ng-t240794.html
  14. re coding. I disagree. I had a customer with a 2003 get his via emailing nissan JPN. he stated that he imported the car from japan and that nissan oz did not wish to help and he needed the codes so he could get a key c ut for the car. stated the chassis # , model number and the complete set of codes on the BCM. that netted a 5 digit number. the current sedan I have now has a steel tag on the key. if you have that - there is your code.
  15. in regards to service - its part of compliance that the car gets a fully factory service with EVERY FLUID changed. some shops do it some do not. if in doubt do EVERY thing you think needs to be done at that distance. there should be a book in the car stating service intervals. as for the key. its not that simple. the email to japan (see FAQ) will net the immobiliser codes so you can get nissan to recode the key for you. no codes - no keys. that help?
  16. rianto, from what I have seen - yes. if they have launched this car in the US then I dare say they are running the streets of japan now.
  17. insurance will take it if thats your question.
  18. so they took the 370Z and added back seats to it. I feel sorry for the first person that leaves the roof down in a storm. the radio alone is worth a mint ( as I have found out in my research.) still a nice car but I think nissan Oz will opt for the 370Z.
  19. ok that tells me exactly who did it. the ultrasonic eyes tell me what the alarm is. as for removing it. its all plug and go with scotchlocks/cable ties holding it underthe dash. find the two/three units and remove them along with the harnesses they are tied to. one will chase over to the passneger side. that will involve dropping the glovebox to get at the rest of it. the whole exercise will take 15 min to do and save you a LOT of headache for when it goes south and stuffs up. As for me I do 4f the Major compliance shops here in brisbane and at any given time I have a couple of customer cars on the go with mods. (be it the TV/navi/Cruise DVD etc.) overall I see 5-10 of these cars a week and I'm VERY familiar with them. in regard to cruise I do offer a plug and play kit if you are mechanically inclined. it is sold with instructions as well (the instructions do have a disclaimer saying professional instruction strongly recommneded!) to make the job pain free. keys- contact nissan japan with your chassis number and they can look it up for you. that one key will break eventually then you are pretty much screwed.
  20. nope. if you have one - pull it out and start again.
  21. inside the door - its part of the catch assy.
  22. actuator has failed by the sound of it. off to a wrecker to find something similar I would suggest. (look at a later patrol.)
  23. buy a band expander . ($35 from me) and that will fix the FM probelm. as for numerically tuning higher - no.
  24. clarify pls. if I read that correctly you are saying that you key lock the drivers door and the passenger door follows and if you use the alarm it closes the drivers door but not the passenger. if that is the case the drivers one is out of adjustment.
  25. that alarm will cover it.
