  1. troy, in short none of them do. adding one to a DEI unit is a major pain. especially if its going on your purple thing flick me a PM and I'll explain.
  2. send me a PM with how you wnat then set up and I'll reply back with some numbers.
  3. the whole thing works. I'm looking at reworking it for Oz. ( and no its not as simple as asking fo a cd...)
  4. 446P - will have a 4 button remote top two arm/disarm bottom two: left is car locator (lights on with a tap lights off two taps.) hold = panic. right is timer / boot release depending how the alarm is configured when it was fitted. timer cannot be fully disabled if you have it. two taps of that button will turn it off after you turn the key off but thats it. did I do this car?
  5. as much as I hate to say it - pull the lot and BIN IT! I have a AVIC HZ88 here that I'm mucking with currently just for shits and its looking the same way.
  6. got a model number (I'll assume clarion) ? it wll start with PN - if its a xenavi then I can fix those as well - est $2-300 though.
  7. if its a Oz stds one - no way to do it. (tell me what alarm it is pls via PM) short of completely bypassing the thing. that to me would make the alarm pointless.
  8. no probs. drop me a bottle of xxxx in my mail box when you come past
  9. nope - he's closed his yard. he is still doing brokering. been doing a few cars for him as of late and thats the info I have currently. as for yards: Mark @ IAC. Paul @ motorman Mick @ SVI Jason/David @ autoshop Craig @ Carmen imports i do the odds and sods work for these guys so I see what goes on most of the time.
  10. rumor is he has a deposit on one. not sure where Russ lives - could well be his. (Either way I would LOVE an image of the HDD in that car!!)
  11. this SHOULD be the case. take a snap of your key barrel with the trim ring removed OR copy the key you have onto a $5 blank with your original key and try to start the car with it. make sure the original is elsewhere when you start the car. if it starts then no issue. if not the NATS unit is there. (I'm fairly sure the former is the case.)
  12. duuno. I'll check when they reopen on the 5th. I have a bit of jap stuff coming in via them anyway.
  13. no the unit you are asking for- never mind I see you wnat the lead. you need this R34_GTR_MFD_MIKE.pdf
  14. white box above left knee - split it and find the two doides side by side on the board . pulse with a test light. solder wires to those points and configure the alarm as neg trigger. no need to strip the harness. apart from the NATS 2.8 unit its wired the same (to me anyway.)as a 34 GTT.
  15. also give all the relays on the rear of that panel a tap with a screw driver- there are two back there that may screw up when jarred
  16. triple check that. if you were prodding the plugs from the terminal end that will be the culprit.
  17. GTT & GTR run the same body harness there are 2 actuators in the doors anyway as the std remote entry works. as fo doing it and grabbing the triggers - got a meter and electronics knowledge? you will need to find, split and modify the remote entry unit.
  18. wait until after the 5th and I'll sell you one. I'm taking a break and not around until then.
  19. add an actuator to the drivers door. there's not one there factory.
  20. got a meter? running voltage on battery? alarm - baypassed? fault there still? pickup point for indicators - where?
  21. what year?
  22. its a JDM item so its locked to region 2 for a start. . easier to run an aftermarket item in there. see brian at autotainment for this. do you have the TV setup as well? (this is a setup question - no TV means its done differently.)
  23. find a 'Normal' panel and AC controller. that will sort the LOT out. find a mate with a normal car and take his chassis # to nissan and order the parts. as for trimming the original - nah. copy it onto a bit of MDF. I'll take all of the old stuff with the sub harness when yo pull it out.
  24. Rianto, yep. These things will have to be on an exchange basis. it is NOT something I can do on a trip out of town as I NEED my workbench to do them. (sorry victor ) for those with 70th aniv. cars these run a DIFFERENT radio ( they run a PN-2615E) the ones I mod currently are PN 2413E. if someone has a PN-2615 they have pulled out - I'm all ears. later cars (IE 2004.5 + ) no rework yet. I cannot find a unit that will keep the MD working.
  25. MODIFICATIONS Cruise Control these cars DID NOT have Cruise control factory (exception is the USDM G35.) . you can fit a Vacuum unit or DBW Setup to them without hassle. I do a fully integrated DBW setup for these that runs the original Controls on the steering wheel ( you MUST have the standard wheel!)- Contact me directly if you want one done. if the car is going through compliance here in Brisbane it can be done there also. radio controls on the OE steering wheel. this one is a 20 minute mod that is literally a plug in and work affair. parts are available from me/ nissan Oz for this mod It involves removing the steering wheel , removing the blank on the left side, putting the factory piece in place, putting it back together and enjoying. makes driving your Ipod a LOT easier that fiddling with the radio
