  1. Singha, I did this car. for pricing/repairs fire me a PM - and yes I do travel.
  2. could also be a dry joint in the unit. can you duplicate it by hitting the dash ? when does this happen?
  3. 2001 HV35 didnt have it. 2003 PV35 and CPV35 did have it.
  4. PM DRIFTT he knows of a couple.
  5. nt unless you want to be the first one to buy a test car.
  6. there is - I wrote it.
  7. std kenwood one will fit it. hopefully that does not have a TV function on it. autobarn will be your best bet.
  8. ^^ exactly!
  9. engine bay look there. or pull the cover on the shifter. from memory the shifter does a high current cut on that anyway. prove me wrong though.
  10. get an I pod and I can set it up where the existing radio controls the ipod.
  11. no. the one you have is a clarion OE item. speaks N bus. the aftermarket versions speak Cbus and CEnet both of which are no where near what you have and they will not connect to what you have either.
  12. got an Ipod? I can do that side of things easier. otherwise its a real pain to fix that. it will involve using normal GTT bits.
  13. show me the radio and stacker.. I'll tell you.
  14. indeed! that would make my job of doing a V36 that much easier wouldnt it. look more at the 370Z if they offer it here. wont help in the case of a 35 series car anyway.
  15. yeh right.... they mean murano and that is VDO based. no where NEAR the same system. there is a fellow here that tried to do this with the USDM CDs - no go. I need to meet this guy.
  16. central locking on one of those is fun btw. you need to access the box on the passenger side to run it.
  17. the radio will work. the navi will not. alpine do not do navi here.
  18. nope. no issue there. it is meant for one wire only- down or up depending on what you want to do. if up do as I said. the motors rest as ground when nothing is happening. you can send +12v down the motor side of the cut wire and the window will raise. same is true with down. its when you get into CAN controlled windows and the relay controlled ones you need to worry. in regard to your car you need to find the auto up module. on the S2 33 its part of the switch assy. if its not in your case them there will be a module towards the rear of the door that you will need to find and clip the up wire that feeds DIRECTLY to the motor. thats the only way to send that one up. this applies to the drivers door only - the rest are direct switching.
  19. no problems. its a bit frustrating when you put $40k down on acar and have to wait 2 months to see it. thats the way the system works I'm afraid. its all patience even though the wait drives you nuts.
  20. switch means that wire goes to the switch side of the motor. window motor means motor side of the switch, find the up wires and cut them in half. you will have a switch side and a motor side now - make sense. done plenty of these into those cars..
  21. could be NSW. if you are handy with a meter prod the actuator with it and arm/disarm the alarm. it will be a fuse on the alarm or the actuator. I'm leaning on the actuator.
  22. its not that easy. the car is assigned to that shop. to move it requires it to be transferred to a new shop via canberra which takes more time to do at. sit tight - the car will arrive this year
  23. spoke to them about it today . as I understand the car goes on hoist monday. they cleared 15 other cars that were scheduled before yoursand that is before the vans and buses they had to do. each car takes 1.5 days to do after they service it and do repairs/tyres. if there are parts to be ordered it takes longer. from it then gets inspected by DOTARS and from there a plate is issued. that plate takes 5 days at best to arrive. yours was last in the last pile of cars on that boat of which there were 300 cars brought in for compliace here in brissy across 6 shops. spoke to the shop in question about communication today and the understanding I have is there were two calls they knew about. he's approachable if you wish to contact him directly. there are several cars on here that have went through them (RS73 is one.) without a hitch. unsure on the import approval side of things but DOTARS in canberra process 2-300 a day at a minimum so yours would have been in line somewhere. if the car was shipped before the approval was done then the information was correct. if dotars saw fit they could have refused entry to this car. - they didnt. the wharfies still have control over how much comes off the boats in a day/week. that would explain the delay on that end. when the workshops are swamped with 50-60 cars at a time over a 3 week period people tend to get annoyed and wonder what is going on.( this has happened twice in 2 months now.) I had 4 cars there myself with the owners in Victoria asking me what was going on - I cleared my end of these well over 3 weeks ago and the cars left brisbane 2-3 days back for their owners. yes there is that much of a backlog. call them in the morning and have a chat about it. its probably better than complaining on a forum and pissing everyone off.
  24. actually: chassis ends in: 650136?
