  1. drop off. I can take you back if needed. speak to you in the morn about it.
  2. incase some of you do not read your state forums. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/I-...lb-t238485.html contact me for more info.
  3. for those in MLB that have been chasing me - I'm coming down thurs 16th at night and go back on the 18th at night. I'll be at stylyn car audio 239 dorset rd boronia for the time I'm here - if you need something looked at register your interest below. RS73 - ring me in the morn. 0407-102-839 IAMHE77 - you ring me as well I'm doing both your cars when I get there. anyone else ??
  4. nah most of them are transisitor based anyway. for me its a case of two delayed signals to close it fully. same idea to open it. nissan drop tops are a pain to automate. too many lockouts to defeat to make the thing do as you want.
  5. TV/DVD/IPOD/CRUISE - easy up to the last of the series. the 12/05 car I just released is proof of that. just don't hand me a CVT and ask for cruise. I wont do it. re V36 - ask me the same question in a week of so. I'll have a better understanding of it then. re my comment. I tend to see trends - some people wont buy an import unless everything is is english for them and everything works for local market. that said its the cars up to 2004.5 that are done and that means you are buying quite an old car just to get this option.
  6. there are a few running around brissy as well. unsure on status. I'm due to look at one for modding shortly.
  7. not really . fellow I used to refer to closed shop.
  8. when was the last time it was serviced and what oil was put in? to my knowledge they use a special oil. its been covered here a few times now. general consensus on the CVT is to stay away from them when buying for that reason. lately I have been seeing cheap sedans only to find they are all CVTs with I figure half dead boxes.
  9. brad has that disc. yours only had the phone connection and its not that simple to modify. I can put another unit into it using the OE car kit (IE no BT) audio routing and a kit of your choice, but not the stock one. the phone was deemed a sharp of some descripton by jon chan. I've left it at that.
  10. well I had the chance to sit in one today. quite different. from my side its going to be fun I'm told it goes rather well. I'm not about to find out.
  11. give me the current rating of this device and I'll make you something for it.
  12. not quite. carwings is the equivilent of holdens alert system (where you push a button and it calls a holden call centre.) the cars up to 2004.5 do not have it. after 2004.5 to the end of the series do have it. cars around the 12/05 build date have bluetooth as well. to be honest if all you are wanting is english and nothing else buy a base spec car. the later car is a MUCH better drive and to me better built. that said a V36 is better again ( I sat in one today.) and an ENTIRELY different kettle of fish as far as the navi/radio/cruise is concerned.
  13. also - dont try to fix it yourself. that car is NOTHING like the pajero you drive.
  14. 0407-102-839. could be a few things there. quick check with a scanner will tell me. motor is common. question is - motor or switch originally? both are fixable - switch isn't that bad and there is a good chance I can fix it. considering that ENTIRE front panel controls the radio and AC there is something amiss. the 6CD stuck in the mech is common. not a cheap fix but common. I'll have a look at it and at the very least get tunes. TV is a separate assembly. that entire unit can be removed with no real effect on the radio. who did the car come from (tell me when you ring.) you north or south? give me a ring and I'll sort this car for you.
  15. if you have carwings it will be on the buttons or on the roof console. there are 8 different boxes in these cars and of those 8, 3 different versions- early - cracked, mid series - uncracked (to my knowledge) and late - (no crack.) late has bluetooth phone (as indicated by the BT logo on the navi box.) and is laid out totally different to teh other two boxes.
  16. when installed correctly - yes it is. where are you?
  17. with fiddling - yes. depends on the roof and how it actually works. if I can automate a convertible silvia to fully close the roof and lock it self - a sunroof will be a walk in teh park. are you electronics minded?
  18. scary thing about that car is I have worked on it..
  19. brian, I'm in the hotseat on this one.. I have a vehicle in build - I'm wiring it with no alarm in sight yet. I have sussed a unit for it but the contract being what it is , the thing is ALL custom.
  20. hate to be rude but if you have to ask that question you really should pay someone to fit it for you.
  21. I have the JDM 36 manual already. I'm backing it with the USDM g37 for good measure. I have a car located so now its a matter of time. M35 I'lll take anyway . pm me where you found it.
  22. none yet. still waiting..
  23. No! the software they are tlaking about is the english translation. no maps. DVD requires a DVD player. the unit in the dash IS A DVD ROM! it does not play dvd video. keep reading I have covered this a few times now
  24. I do a cruise kit for that car. as for nav software - there isn't any. the system in that car DOES NOT have maps for Oz. the ones you have seen from me are garmin based.
