not wanting to get into a shitfight here but I find craig (carmen) quite easy to work with. harass him 3-4 times a day and tell him how to do his job and he becomes an entirely different person. leave him alone and wait for a phone call or call him once a week for a progress report and he's fine. now I was there when your car arrived. it was 19 days later when it left. I did my part of it on day 16 before it was signed off and plated. plates on average take 5-7 days to clear at best and before that the car gets fully inspected and serviced. considering he had other paying customers there as well 19 days is quite good. there are some people on here that bought and paid for their cars back in may (RB26stagea.) and the cars are still sitting at the compliance shop. a bit of patience goes a long way. btw look at the rear left of your car - there is overspray there.

yep.. if they are heavily modded most shops wont touch them.

I'd be interested on this from an electrical standpoint as well. I know that the BCM on a 04 Zed is VERY similar to a 350GT. need to put the two cars side by side. diagram wise - quite close.

with modding Jon. I still need one to fully prove this. this will work IF you do not have Navi.

read the book on that one. most require a command. as for placemnet - get creative, pull the dash.

to be honest most of the cars that I do are silver and lately they have been sedans. bit of a pain trying to ID a car without a number on the front screen. yes silver is quite a popular color and I rarely see a red , metallic blue or a black. (that said I have worked on two black ones in the last week - both sedans.)

true, you can get a ipod lead that will run off the factory steering controls. that will give you more than enough music. no video though (which is what everyone of late seems to want.)

started sourcing stuff for the CV36. I'm working on the cruise control now for it. this will be a plug and play kit onceI'm done and drive by wire. the coupes do not have cruise and I have yet to see a sedan so I cannot prove if that car has cruise or not. I'm also looking at a consult 3 once I prove that I can enable cruise via it on these cars. figure I work on enough of them to justify one. anyone want any odd CV36 stuff or am I jumping the gun a bit?

depends on the autobarn. if its virginia then you won't find the alarm. if its ipswich on tues/friday then you wont find the alarm either. that said I do have images that I can share of one up north and the subsequent mess that followed.
