what do you want to know about it? on the second point yes it can be disabled - most have an inhibit input on them so its a case of putting a signal on it and they stop. the one I use does them one at a time. that said if you wanted to ADD it to the car in standard form it can be done OFF THE STANDARD REMOTE! if you are capable of doing the wiring I can expalin how.

ok that is two different modules. windup is one and can be triggered off the door actuator. the fold can be done off a neg trigger. will take 2 relays and a couple of caps to do it. removing ALL access to teh boot is a BAD idea. if it stuffs up then you CANNOT get in. best idea if you are that worried about it is to MOVE the mechanical release. put it in th arm rest in the centre console there is enough cable to do that. who in sydney is doing the alarm? if its NOT alan or leon - worry..

there is not (to my knowledge.) a definitive answer to your question - the only way to work it out is to try.

randy, I wouldnt cut a thing on that. unbolt it and drop it between the seat and the steeel frame.

the CATE is an entirely separate unit so if you find the alarm you wont find it. in the case of the Rhino item find the unit pop the card out and its gone. comes back to installation in reality.

nah thats a 12" box. that has a LOT of output with a decent amp on it. the on eI'm talking about has a 8" sub in it and a 150-200w amplifier.

you have it tied to the wrong wire. tied it off the radio ACC feed.

they are much of a muchness. Blaupunkt do one as well. in your case (assuming the car in your profile.) it will work well.

thats close to what I mean. copy the panel and use charcoal grey carpet and you will have it.

grab a 100a circuit breaker as well and a fused distro block ( I haev them if you need them) as well. that way it is protected.

if you are looking for bottom end fill it will do nicely. if you are looking for boom go elsewhere. they need to be loaded into a corner for them to work properly part of the reason they are on display and not connected.

for placement- yep put them where that module is on both sides. if ou are doing type R use a 20mm bit of mdf and it should clear. with everything in place and the window down close the door and listen for a rattle. if you hear the glass touching the speaker add a bit of foam to the back of the speaker.

are you sure you are not using the bus audio input? there is a box called a XA107 that will help you. thats the sony aux in unit.

good speakers. mind you the ones you already have VS the ones he has are night and day difference.
