  1. need a R32 cluster. dont care what version of the car just needs to be R32. about to fix up someones expensive mistake and I need a second black gauge overlay.. need the whole black backing plate.
  2. ok started V2 of the dash. V2 entails totally removing any evidence of the tach even being there. started looking at it this morning and I reckon I can make a insert to fit on top , high fill,sand,chamfer and make it look like this: (yes this is a nismo 33 item - concept is what I am going for. note chamfered edges around the screen) so it looks like I will need another 32 cluster to work with.. (if you know of one - tell me.)

  4. yep! learned that with SCR years ago. all of those guys were putting around in MBs and we all see where that went.. when they offered shares I passed on the idea. lots of people lost money there. same as all of those that are left holding gift vouchers for wow av. not a happy camper.
  5. more than habib, put it this way all of his stuff is gone . he can put it back there. GT did the engine bay - I did the inside. put it this way if someone so much as sneezes on that car he (and I) will know about it and both of us have the ability to do something about it as well. still have to finish it off. can't seem to stay on it any more than 4 hours at a time.
  6. bank was NAB. they fell over once already and got a bailout. 2nd time though NAB cried enough. kinda what you get with 5% margins..
  7. they 'were' on the ASX. yes it sucks. I am trying to work an angle with the admins - not succeeding.. - enough from me for the day - going to GT auto to strip down ruzic's car and finish that off.
  8. wrangling PKF for money (wow audiovisual admins) seems to be pointless.. its amazing how bluechip companies can f**k up and majorly screw over everyone else in the process.. lesson learned - stick with small business. (been a horrible two weeks and I'm slightly pissed off after losing $2500 to these fk'wits.)

  11. once I do that I will mock up the ENTIRE dash on a jig and work out the bugs in it. most of them are already out.
  12. yep. most of the electronics is getting done at the moment. my goal is to get the cluster done again and from there the switching,rev cam, HKS unit and navi harnesses.
  13. pay someone to do it. thats thing is CAN and it already has keyless standard.
  14. I have requested V2 of the LCD to be a clear window . failing that I wil probably make it myself with a pin router and several jigs.
  15. key point there - you have your code! - keep it safe. your car only runs on C3. I can read most of that car with my machine as well but a C3 is where its at.
  16. couple of images of the modified cluster: (this is V1 - I'm not happy with how it came out.) I had these done locally: that entire panel (where the cruise indicator sits) has been redone. there is one issue with it. the security indicator is inverted. it was supposed to be a red background with black text. a stupidly bright white LED lights it up. (I have a LED drop light under it for this shot.) I am going to take it back to the people that made it for me and get the security area redone so it matches the rest of the panel. at the moment its a bit hard to see unless you are on top of it. this part came up ok apart from the inverted lower panel. LCD panel in place. this is also V1. it needs to come up about 2-3 mm and the entire panel squared up. this was done with a hand saw and looks a bit rough for my liking. again something I intend to take up with the people that did it. more to come. the interface and harnessing is next up.

Correct. corrected for future reading. nissan can look up ( and they have done so for me.) the codes but they NEED the car to look it up. finding a dealership to help isnt too bad BUT if you come across like a d1ck telling them you know everything about your car (and they know nothing ) then expect to be blown off. not saying thats what the OP did but it does happen. I seem to remember a key code program floating about that did the calc off a checksum. may be worth having a dig on this forum for it under spare keys. you will STILL need a C2/C3 to do it. my diagun will program certain aspects of it but a C2/C3 is a FAR better option.
  21. cheaper than that - $295. only issue being is they are out of production. so if you do find one 2nd hand grab it.
