  1. beat me to it. to put this into perspective - the rear guards are well over $1k each just to get the track/look right. save your money and buy a GTR. easier. if you are looking for hectic rear skids buy a commodore the GTR is 4wd for a reason.
  2. nope. build your own and you can get a LOT more than the poxy xanavi setup
  3. shoot me some details (where are you ? phone number etc.) . mondays are usually ok . fridays are out due to other commitents. I know I can get live data out of it with my diagun so that may be the go. G sensor: yep pull that off and have a squiz.
  4. yes IF you had a GTS4 in the same chassis. if you are thinking of buying (or have) a GTR34 and dropping all of it into a GTT then the front drive system will hang you. the chassis rails ARE DIFFERENT in the front of the car. there are subtle tweaks in the floor as well. in my case I have GTR electricals in a GTS4 R32 chassis and IF I wanted to do a FULL swap it would be the entire front end swap AND new inner/outer rear guards as well. swapping the outer panels wont work. what EXACTLY are you trying to do?
  5. cameras look dealer fitted actually. the screen housing I like. should pop that off and take it to a mould maker. as for using the screen for something else . I wouldnt bother. find a similar sized screen with VGA/touch ability and reuse the housing.
  6. can you get live data with your lead? wheel speeds can be pulled off the ABS stream IF you can access it. G sensor I'm not sure on. I can tell you that R32 vs C34 that a few things are different . the G sensor under the armrest is one of them. that you can check visually as it has a inspection mark on it that is supposed to be clear. if red then its had it. I see you are in brissy. if you feel like a drive I can plug a scan tool into it.
  7. could also be a on/off switch for the ioniser. only people that removed the dealer fitted alarms are up in QLD - I was one of them. that one is in the wrong spot for that feature and it has a mirror symbol on it usually.
  8. rear side interior panels - how much?
  9. plenty of parts around for those in the wreckers. that is the first of the renault ones as well. I had a N15 and sold it with 425k on it. still ran well and the auto still behaved.
  10. Me? (nissan japan.)
  11. know the unit. clunky but works. maps are pirated.
  12. that is held on with 4-5 screws under the rubber. rubber pulls out.
  13. actually boss wrecking have two 33s there - have a dig at those.
  14. rear is the same as 32. I know i have that one. front I will not have.
  15. I may have a spare one. yours if I can find it.
  16. I'm waiting on a few things (and people to pay their bills.) so I can't do anything yet.
  17. quick move so I can find it again. no news yet
  18. use the mounts that come with the engine. they will sit the engine in the right spot. I did the same with mine. todd , need to go for a strap with in it at some point.
  19. not too bad considering a bit under half is the cut and its going to take 4-5 days to correctly do it .
  20. fully kitted $260 posted. so unit, usb, ipod lead, BTooth unit.
  21. to a point. once they mark a car you are pretty much screwed. the subaru attracts no attention but at the same point I am not looking to attract it either. part of the reason I now stay away from the JDM meets out at QR. those are going to end in tears for a lot of people if they get any bigger.

  24. he already has a mitsi M there.. (fuel version of the MIEV) so if would not surprise me. if you have someone ready to commit that sort of money then by all means. I still do not see it going anywhere myself. most of the guys I know have moved away from cars and gone to motorhomes, bikes and US iron. and yes I am old
