    I pity the idiot that tries to take this car.. 10 layers of security and 6 of those are VERY transparent and REMOTELY controlled. those that were at the tech night will have some inkling of what I am getting at.

    true. the one I have now HAS an alarm on it (or whats LEFT of it) but no insurance. I get the fact it is 'cool' to have a fast car but FFS insure the thing.

    given I picked up ANOTHER R33 today (and it was white and trashed) it doesn't surprise me. this is not the car you are talking about though.

    done a few. that one has a digital screen and it is not THAT bad. quirky as hell but works. mapping is pirated though.

    drive it up for the next tech night. bet I can get past it ME, call me first. I have a 2nd R33 as a stolen and recovered due in a couple of days. same thing . crap install and a set of smashed locks. not sure on overall condition of the car just that it was found by its owner and still runs.
