thats it. on the JDM one doing the area switches doesnt do anything. you should have a PN2613/14 for the jap unit. I have the FSM for that here if someone wants to host it. the area 'code' is hard coded into the CPU and the face. its not as simple as moving two jumpers around. a LOT more has to change to fix the radio issue. the AM/FM front end is one of them. mving the jumper for bose does two things. drops the output volume,enables the amplifier turn on. the non bose units DO NOT have the amp on ckts.

dont think it is possible myself. ADRs seem to kill those things.

no. main board and you need the service manual to find it.

there is a jumper setting that needs to be changed in it for full volume. at the moment it has a -20db cut on it.

worked it out still have the auto bearing in place. it looked like it was part of the crank.

finally spent a bit more time doing small things. drivers door harness has been rebuilt to take a factory door actuator instead of a aftermarket gun type so it will be a bit more reliable. when I got all the GTR bits off whizzn they came with a GTR key. all the locks went to HA Reed Locksmiths in Albion today to get recoded and a spare key made. should have them back in a few days and that will fix the worn locks as well. probably going to spend sunday doing another harness.

called them. think there is something up on my end as they use the std bush.. will fiddle with it later today.

exactly as above. it appears that the rear of the cranks on these things are different between 2wd and 4wd. the spigot bush spec'd for a 2wd RB25 is too big to fit into the rear of the crank on my engine. the inside of it fits the gearbox fine. outside is at least 1mm or more too big. what did you do for one? all the parts I come up with in FAST show the 2wd bush and that carries across almost every nissan engine I have found EXCEPT mine. engine was built 09/97. help!!

I meant using the stock ECU. doing aftermarket is an entirely different matter.

would absolutely LOVE to see that one done.. as for a dead remote. I would check that you have a good battery in it and it is the right way up.

there are 4 colors. unless you can provide a chassis number there is no real way to get the correct color. I know what you are after btw.

pull the front suspension out. that is the only way I found to get the thing loose on my car. once youhave that loose it will 'pop' out

mine: little bit of change since I bought it 5 yrs ago. it lost the 1.8 turbo and 5 spd manual and gained a 2 lt twin turbo,stupid brakes,ABS/traction control and a tricked 4spd jatco. its my daily.

that would make a good project for someone. the sill rust though wil take a fair bit to sort out as I have found.
