  1. actually do you still have the shell and if so are you willing to chop bits out of it?
  2. second in line if this falls through. I can pick it up on the way to sydney this sunday as well. let me know if it does fall through.
  3. I will be coming back from hervey bay so I will be there in the the van anyway. noel has something to give me I am told.
  4. I am probably going to start travelling again so it may be possible for me to sort it
  5. modded cars and heavily modded cars cost money to bring in. if youare considering it I would speak to a shop about it before you commit to buying your dream car. I have been privy to a few modded cars and they had to revert to stock to get cleared. wouldnt it be easier to buy one already here?
  6. best we talk.. (and read the FAQ if you have not already.)
  7. depends on the question being asked if you are clearing a 40' container of stuff then if may not be that expensive if you are bringing in bits and peices them the cost is more you deal out of china and japan I take it? (I deal out of japan.)
  8. depends. most of those are navi.TV units. IF the audio will route back into the new unit then you *MAY* have a chance of using it. personally I prefer to rip them out and bin them. most route teh audio into the screen and into a pissy 3" speaker. not worth the effort.
  9. yep mine has a Auto C34 4wd RB25 in it. auto box long gone - grey plug on the ECU harness. need to get it working on that harness first then I will consider 'fiddling' with it.)
  10. not bad. last one of those I did the owner dropped a RB26 into it.
  11. 20 yrs and I'm curious if you do them like I do ( interior out )? the key thing on alarms in general is install. you can spend buckets of dosh on one have a shit job done and then rag the crap out of the unit cause it is 'unreliable'. if its done properly then you should never have an issue with it. food for thought.
  12. kinda curious about this myself IF I decide to go down the modified route or not. (thread subscribed for this reason alone.)
  13. whizzn droped a LOT of stuff of today (ta! let me know when you need to borrow those lights ) now I have all the intercooler pipes and only need a BOV return pipe and then that part is complete. I remember someone saying they had factory cruise on a 32 sedan. I would like to talk to you and get a photo or two of how the actuator is mounted. been looking at wrecks and it appears they all use the same setup with different mounting. also found a U13 bluebird with a leather wrapped wheel and cruise buttons on it. I will look at it over the next few days along side a R32 that is also sitting in the same yard and see if the wheel fits or not.
  14. keep pushing it will pop up. they tend to stick of the mechanism is out of line.
  15. someone made progress over the weekend by the look of things
  16. ordered the rear right guard yesterday - touch over $800 for it. due in about 3 weeks pending freight.
  17. geunine item is $250 PN 27736-70T00 dash removal is about the only real way to do it. I looked at it with the idea of accessing it WITHOUT pulling the dash - pass. dash out is far easier.
  18. noted. I have enought people to put a date against it. stay tuned.
  19. buttons do fit. no is it not a straight swap. panel IS NOT cheap new. for the firmware reload - simon still does them. make sure your box is the black Xanavi box and not a dealer fitted one.
  20. since you are brissy based - which RAW?
  21. some of hte S2 33's had it but it was a dealer fitted thing.
