Bump. will swap for 15mms. -
looks like a factory manual. i've got a factory manual and all signs point to it being a factory manual. same seats, same gauges, same console trim, has the factory rims, and the rsfourS stickers on the back. only thing is its not a dayz edition - it only has a dayz rear spoiler, not the full kit. looks like a nismo rear muffler too. there is no way it will feel like a 33, so much heavier and AWD. and stock airbox and SMIC is virtually silent. i changed my airbox to a pod though, and you will defintely hear it - mine sounds like a jet.

rather than jumping straight into rewiring the pump, try putting a multimeter across the terminals and see if you're getting a voltage drop - but i'd say upgrading the wiring and running it off a relay is a good safety measure anyway. and if you want to do some forward planning, use Amp wiring OAWG or similar - run it to your boot and into a distribution block - then run some thicker wiring like 8AWG off that for your pump (dont' forget to fuse it).. bit of overkill, but then if you want to add amps later, you're set!

Non-Turbo M35 Complete $4000!
SMOKEYV35 replied to Sage222's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
hmmmm.....would probably go ok at stock boost, high comp would get it going a bit quicker.....but in terms of getting it re-registered, it wouldnt work. need an ET engine number, not the same N/A engine with a turbo kit bolted to the side. -
Non-Turbo M35 Complete $4000!
SMOKEYV35 replied to Sage222's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
because you can't put a less powerful engine into a car where a more powerful one previously resided. an extreme example would be putting a Daewoo Matiz motor into a Porsche Cayenne - it would be unsafe as it wouldn't even be able to move it across an intersection without being a danger to other traffic users. -

S2 Dayz Lower Fog Lights
SMOKEYV35 replied to SMOKEYV35's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
hey mate, any more than 20 bucks and i'll cover it. -
S2 Dayz Lower Fog Lights - dont see these around too often! Custom Mounting Brackets included Hey guys, I have for sale a pair of super rare Dayz fog lights. They have custom mounting brackets which allows them to sit in the outer vents of a Dayz front bar. Perfect if you have a big FMIC in the center opening. All the hardwork, cutting and fabricating has been done by me. All you have to drill one hole into the underside of the factor reinforcement bar and they sit firmly no vibration, no movement. There is no cutting of the factory bar so it is a perfectly reversible mod (the best kind!). If you want to mount them in the factory location (center opening) then this can be done also. They are in top nick, only one has a tiny bit of hazing around the edge inside the lens. Was planning on separating and cleaning, but its unnoticeable on the car so I havent bothered. I will include part of the loom + connectors if you dont already have it. Selling because I want to go for a custom LED setup. Will arrange pics mounted to the car shortly. If they don't sell i'll just go ahead with my plans to install HID's into them. Looking for $200 + postage ONO or pickup in melb CBD Cheers. Mat

pretty sure i saw blaq.boi at DFO carpark on Saturday cruising for a car spot. car looks mean, nice stance - and for factory rims, it looked surprisingly good. did you paint your roof black??

SMOKEYV35 replied to SMOKEYV35's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
bumparoo. got some 25mm bolt ons for the rear that will have them flush (will require lipping the gaurds tho). -
traded up from the 31, eh andrew! you might remember me or my 31 off R31sc.com?? congrats on the purchase - they're great rides! can't skid like a 31 tho.... no idea on the covers but good luck. i'd suggest taking some trim off inside the boot, probably some fasteners in there.

i write mine down on the sticker and put it in the log books - but also keep an excel spreadsheet of every cent i spent on the car, from mods to maintenance (replace or repair) to consumables (plugs, oils, fluids etc). i find this to be hugely helpful. i have done it on all my cars and come sale time, it really helps you as an owner to have a true understanding of what the car owes you, but also to demonstrate to a buyer what has gone into the car beyond the purchase price (which is usually the market price). for anyone more tech savvy though, there are apps available for the iphone for recording all this info -
Hey Guys, Thinking Of Buying A Stagea
SMOKEYV35 replied to Run-It-Hard's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
i'd strongly suggest buying an RS4S - stronger drive line, LSD, manual from factory - all you need to do is pull the front drive shaft and you've got a RWD car that will make 200rwkw with basic breathing mods which should be enough to do this: -
might just be the angle of the photo and the changed shape of the rear door/gaurd - but it looks like your rear wheel might be a bit out.....if so, then if i were you i'd be praying for a write off because once a car has it's suspension knocked out it's never really the same - esp with the complicated HICAS rear ends..... but you might be lucky. i had a skyline written off, bought the wreck, then sourced all the replacement parts and took it to a panel beater - cost me 3k to fix it, and i got a full respray! so there is always opportunity for a win ;-)

custom shortened upper arms and extended lower arms for that much camber. have seen worse again....so much camber the stickers on the surface of the tyre don't even touch the road!!! this is not a photo shop! there are vids of it driving here http://www.7tune.com/oni-camber/
-
it gets worse...and this is actually riding on coilovers (or 'static' as they say). there is a vid of it driving on the page http://www.stancenation.com/page/9/

can't find anything from x-force anymore and they seem to sell them only as a full system on the x-force website. there is this one though? http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17316&cat=276&page=1 but chuckie seems to think it doesnt fit??
-
i don't think i'd even get as far as a comp/leak down test....things like 'gearbox sticking in third (because i thrashed the synchros), just needs oil (and a rebuild) but i can't get the drain plug off (because i rounded it off trying to open it with a sledgehammer).' or 'rear shock needs replacing (including all other rear suspension components, cradle, and HICAS most likely shot to pieces) after damage with a gutter (which i fully sik'd into).'

yep left a message. i'll call again this afternoon but if i dont hear from them before tomorrow lunch i'll call chasers. i had a wolf tune done by them a few years ago and was reasonably happy. there really isn't a lot to be done with the emanage - as i have said, they have already tuned it for the current mods. only thing that will require fiddling is the boost controller to make sure i'm getting the quickest response, but realistically i can do that myself.
